I had my wedding rehearsal dinner at the pie shop almost one year after I ate there before my first brain surgery. I'm about to drive from Tucson to San Diego to celebrate my anniversary and you better believe I'll be stopping in my favorite place not literally in the ocean. Got another brain surgery on the horizon, and my wife and I will definitely make the trip again before that too.
I loved this place I haven't eaten as much as a lot of people does. But I eaten enough times to loved going here. Glad the restaurant getting a new look.
Not sure if its associated but I loved the pot pies from the one @ the El Cortez Hotel when I was a kid! I believe it had the same name and occupied a ground floor storefront of the closed hotel
Why would you be 'excited' about a remodel? Where do you think they are going to get the money for the remodel from? YOU the consumer who is going to pay higher prices or they're going to cheapen the quality of their food. Remodels aren't cheap.
@@mamat1213 For everyone that the news shows who is happy, there is an equal number of people who ARENT. Besides, how do these people know they are going to like the new look? Trust me, I have seen businesses get remodels and it can be the kiss of death.

Both of my children were born down the street. It was a weekend tradition. Great food and people ❤

Not sure if the Chicken Pie Shop in Fresno Ca was the same. The food sure does look the same. But ours closed 😢 it was sooo good.
I think they should keep the yellow paint exterior, white looks chick-fil-a'ish.
