    I love the adventures you take the boys on and the wonderful things they get to see and experience. Mark you are an awesome man and father. Your sons will treasure these memories all of their lives and share with their families as time goes on.
    The world needs more parents like you and Lauren. God Bless your beautiful family.

      Thanks for encouraging words and invite. We don’t get that far up north too often, but your cabin and adventures look great.

    Alaska is challenging in the winter to say the least, but oh boy the rewards if you are lucky enough to try them are endless, spear fishing, fishing, foraging, camping,cabin living, bears, eagles, all of it , floating by otters, lol speaking of otters, I hope people did come to help the entangled otters from your video a few days back or so. What fun to go along with you all on these adventures. Thank you all, the boys did great. Stay safe and blessings to you all and Happy 4th of July, ☺

      I’m pretty sure the other otters were rescued shortly after I left the area on the other video. I could see them going out in a skiff.
      Summers are the best up here for sure. We go, go, go.

      I hope so! I’m hoping they become my dove buddies in a few years so we can chase big halibut and cod.

    Skills for the future! And a lot of fun along the way. Are the Sea Lions dangerous/aggressive?

    • @AlaskaBoys
      @AlaskaBoys  2 года назад +1

      The sea lions are always very curious, but with how big they are, it’s very intimidating feeling to be in the water with them.

      For the first one, he brought it home to dry out for display. The other one he put back down in the kelp.

    What an Adventure, even the can opener, a little more practice Mark you will be a Pro. The Boys did great with Spear fishing. It looks a little difficult. Love Hunter's perspective a little more Practice on Aim. Does the water get clearer as summer goes on? You had alot of Visitor Fish on this trip. Looking forward to more Spear Fishing Adventures. The Meal prepared looked delicious. I never had octopus but by the looks of the Boys smiles it is delicious. Living in Illinois we don't have many opportunities. Next time I see it, I better grab some. The Alaska Boys never disappoint. Thanks for taking us along

    • @AlaskaBoys
      @AlaskaBoys  2 года назад

      The water clarity generally gets worse as the summer progresses. I think we had a lot of snow melt and some really big tides that mixed it up.

    As an Alaskan and longtime spearfishman, freaked me out initially, pointing your speargun at your kid…then realized all your bands were released-GOOD IDEA TO INCLUDE THAT DISCLAIMER! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🙌

    • @AlaskaBoys
      @AlaskaBoys  2 года назад +1

      For sure! I still don’t really like pointing it at anyone, even when it’s clearly not loaded. I may need to get another type of mount for filming them.
