I've been planning an all inclusive trip to Cancun in February for a while now. I just wanted to thank you for putting this video together. So many other content creators sort of gloss over the food. Given that dining is one of my top criteria, I really appreciate the time and attention you guys put into covering this. Thanks again! PS - The look of joy when taking a bite of that filet put a smile on my face 😂
Thank you so much for your comment! That's exactly why we wanted to document our experience because we were looking for similar videos before we went. We are huge foodies as well so we gotta focus on the food 😆 Wherever you end up going I hope you enjoy it!
I'm not sure if it's technically heated or not, but when we were there in March it was in the mid 80s every day and the water was very comfortable. Definitely not a hot tub but not cold at all!
Question - did you feel like you spent a lot of time in the rooms? might upgrade to junior swimout, and curious if you feel like it is worth it? especially since it comes with the INSPIRA
Personally we spent most of our days out and about, but then would wind down in the room maybe before doing one of the night time activities that Atelier provides. It's a tough question to say if it's worth it or not. Again personally, we loved the butlers we had with the INSPIRA level room. They were outstanding and made the trip very seamless. I would say if you have the extra money, that it's worth it to try INSPIRA the first time you go to the resort so the butler can give you the whole rundown. I think when/if we go back - we would save a little money and just get the regular room since we already know how the resort works. I hope that helps!
Do you remember the prices and what you get for each price tier at Maria Delores- or just the one you got that would have cost $2550? If the second what all is included at Maria Dolores at the $250 cost?
@@reggenemmE great question! So if you stay 7+ nights in an INSPIRA level room, you get a free dinner at Maria Delores, no matter what you get. There’s no limit on dishes/exclusions of certain dishes. That’s the only way it’s included, otherwise you just pay how you normally would at a restaurant. There are prices on each item on the menu like usual. It’s actually not a tasting menu, we just ordered a ton of dishes 😂
@@TienTran-nw5bd you will have a great time! They have a “club” called El Deseo that plays music most nights. There is usually some event happening as well in El Deseo before hand such as the silent disco, a band playing, or the acrobat show. I wouldn’t say it’s a a nightlife centric place, but they definitely have some options! Let us know if you have any other questions!
@@TienTran-nw5bd we were nervous hearing stories because this was our first time in Cancun as well. Highly recommend getting a private transfer service. I believe Atelier offers one, but we went with USA Transfers and their instructions were clear and we felt very safe. On the resort there were absolutely 0 issues at all around safety, the whole city of Playa Mujeres is gated and Atelier itself is also heavily gated. You won’t have any worries there
They have a full 18 hole golf course. You are able to rent clubs, which we did, but it was not cheap. This also does not come with golf balls so you'll have to buy those as well. Our greens fee was free because we stayed for 7+ nights, but just the golf club rentals for me and my wife, plus golf balls for each of us, I believe was over $200. It was still a fun time though!
Great question! We absolutely loved our butlers that came with INSPIRA. They were extremely attentive, often going above and beyond to make our experience even better and stress free. If you aren't on a budget at all, it is definitely a better experience. But with that said, if we were to return I think we would go for a regular room for half the price. I can go into a little more detail on the pros and cons if you'd like, but in short I don't think you'd miss too much doing the standard rooms!
@@chrislamson9021 No problem! Sorry I realized I commented back from the wrong account 😆 but yes the quiet pool is available to all guests. Personally that was our favorite so we spent most of our time there
I would say it's more green, and not super clear. At least when we were there, it was very, very, very windy so we didn't spend much time at the beach because you'd get hit in the face with sand
We can't remember the exact details because our spa treatment was free because we went to their membership presentation, but from what I can recall it was pretty expensive, well over $100 USD for 1 hour for 1 person
The check at Maria Delores was because that restaurant in particular is not included in the all-inclusive aspect of the resort. But if you stay for 7 nights in an INSPIRA level room (which we did), your check is covered by the resort.
@@justinpatton-colston2192 We used USA Transfers. They were great. They email you exact instructions that are pretty clear on how to find them once you get through the airport, and they were on time for both our arrival and departure.
Our exact room type was "INSPIRA Terrace Suite". We made our reservation through a credit card travel portal and got the same price as ATELIER's website offered which was around $850 per night all in, and it may be even more expensive now. Again this is part of the INSPIRA level rooms which is their "up-scale" option that comes with full butler service (which was amazing) and a ton of other upgraded perks. It's definitely a more expensive all-inclusive option but the quality of the resort/food/service was definitely worth it in our opinion!
This review was the best review period. Thank you for the attention to detail.
Thank you so much! Glad it could help!
Fantastic review! Can’t wait to visit in September, wasn’t sure between this hotel and another, but you’ve sealed the deal.
Glad we could help!! You will have a great time, Atelier is the best!
@ Cheers for the reply! Was the upgrade worth it, also how much did it set you back?

I was there the same time with you. I’m going back this June 😂
Don't blame you! It's the best!!! Enjoy it!
Thanks for the great, detailed review!
Question! The little pool on your private patio ..... does it get warm, like a hot tub?
I'm not sure if it's technically heated or not, but when we were there in March it was in the mid 80s every day and the water was very comfortable. Definitely not a hot tub but not cold at all!

Great review. What was your room number? I like how the pool was partially covered. They don’t all look like that and it’s my preference
I can't remember the exact room number, but we were in an INSPIRA Terrace Suite on the first floor of building 3. Hope that helps!
Great review. I will note the regular rooms are exactly the same size as the swimouts. People always think that Inspira are so much larger.
Great point! They absolutely are, just some of the rooms are INSPIRA only.
Hello! Looks like you guys stayed in a rooftop suite toward the end. Would you by chance remember the room number that you stayed in?
So we actually didn't stay in any of the rooftop suites, we just got a tour of all the different room options and that was one we got to see.

Is 10 days too long here?
I can't wait, we will be there July 19th! Thank you for the reviews and suggestions.. how is the nightlife there?

do they provide clubs there for the golf? I would love to play golf there? do they have 18 holes or 9 holes?

did 8 days feel too long? I’m planning a 6 day trip and I’m wondering if it’s too little time to get the full experience…
6 days should be enough! I think 7 days would be perfect but 6 will be good too. As long as you make an effort to try different spots each day! Enjoy!

Is building 3 only for INSPIRA guests?
Nope! I believe all buildings have some INSPIRA rooms and some standard
How many restaurants does this particular resort have?
There are 13 restaurants to choose from!
How far is this from mainland Cancun?
It was about a 45 minute drive, we used a private shuttle transfer service.
