no need to explain, it's an Alfa, if there's oil under the car there's still some left in it.
I'm more into NA engines, but I have to admit that the "breathing" turbo sound is so satisfying.
that is the noise of a turbo with out a blowoff valve. His turbo won't last long
i'm dreaming about put the 3.2 Busso inside of this. Doesn't matter about weight distribution, just sound, characteristic and design

@@wiryantirta It isn't over boosted....just a mild ECU flash but still stock max boost. Main change is torque is spread over a bit wider RPM range.
True skill happens in the curves…so he has none. Many enthusiasts can smash the gas and slam on the brakes….but an artist “paints” through the curves.
LOVE the blowoff sound.... really lets you know when Misha lets off throttle.

Mine also. With a couple of very minor tweaks (tires, alignment,) it goes to the next level. Sad that light, nimble cars like this are going away.

This is very ordinary for Alfa cars, brakes are not needed, basicly Alfa always makes a car that has far better corner handling than actual power😂

Misha had it in Dynamic mode....would have been neat to have it in Race mode. That turns off all the nannies and with Misha's skill he would have found it was even faster. In D mode it uses an electronic limited slip setup but in that mode it uses the brakes to stabilize the car if it steps out a bit. This is a negative on slower turns or at autocrosses. To get that mode you hold the DNA switch lever for about 6 seconds. It also changes the engine shift points and will only work in manual shift mode....full automatic shift option is not used.

Some great sections here! I loved my 2016 4C. It was a total blast up to 8/10, but very hairy and tough to control near the limit.
Man Misha driving one of my favourite modern sports cars is a good way to wake up

The 4C is really cool. The 1,750 is a decent engine but I’d really like to see the 2,000 in that car.
An even cooler engine would be the 2.9 v6 of the Giulia, but I doubt it would fit
The two litre is a good option. Not that much heavier.. tough can be way more powerful. Stage 2 it does about this hp. Some went over 400hp with a hybrid turbo. With a car this light...
@@TheVeenmeister proper midrange and it can make 400hp. Can drive it nice or hard.
@@SPProduction02 that’s too much engine for the chassis. At 505hp driving 235 stock sized tires. Even 255 series tires in a really short wheelbase would take away the fun factor. I think 350whp and 300 torque is more than enough to keep this chassis fun but also get you tickling some dangerous speed.
You can easily make it into a 1.970cc.. Just give it the crankshaft from a 156 2.0l

i think the flashing oil light was for an oil service. more than likely not reset when it was last changed, the car has only flagged up the message probably because it thinks the oil has degraded past a certain %
@2:50 The closest competitor to the 4C is the Lotus Exige Cup 260 and the Exige doesn't have a carbon fibre chassis.
A cup 260 kills a 4C carbon tub or not.
4C is no match for even a basic exige...
secondo me fare i Karussell sul cemento anzichè in alto sull'asfalto non gli fa tanto bene al chassis ;-)

That 1750 engine is up there with so many great Alfa engines of the past. They use it in the W Series racing, unmodified, and I might live to regret what I’m about to say. There are some 1750 Brera, 159, Guilietta and maybe Mito, with the 1750, and some of them are MANUAL. Hopefully no-one in the UK will read this 😂
I’ve got a 320bhp 1750 Giulietta and it’s amazing. I’ve had two others that were stock as well. Great engine. Easy to modify for big power

@@ZesPak fit a quaife LSD and use Toyo proxes and it’s fine. It’s got racing brakes as well

Great drive - the Alfa was all over the BM and Porsche on the corners and stayed with them - they were holding you up.
That sound reminds me of my old Seat Ibiza Cupra MK4 and after a pod filter, a tune and battery relocation it the sound of the intake was huge and the lift off whoosh was addicting.
I loved the sounds that car made very similar to what I could hear here.
This is what a true sport car must be.

It reminds me of when I was younger and all of my car buddies who had turbo cars and were competing to see who could modify their wastegate to make it sound the coolest. Also, when I put cars up for sale and listed everything, the first question a potential buyer would ask was how loud the wastegate was. xD

Glad to see the 4C on the channel. i have been looking for a used on in the U.S. but they are so rare.
That is because 4C owners aren't about to get rid of them. We love them.
All those mods and the owner seemingly forgot the cheapest, yet single most important one: camber blocks for the front, that fix the tramlining and (under)steering

I have only ever seen one in my whole life, and it was in my smallish Atlantic Canadian city two days ago. There is no question that it's a beautiful sports car--especially in red. The car shows I watch on the weekend that try, test out cars, and then reviews them say that it is fun to drive, but not as a daily driver and also the reliability is not good. If you are rich and want a neat little toy that very few people own, and have the means to deal with capricious maintenance and repairs, I say go for it. Styling like a boss!!!
Awesome the owner is very calmly reading the road as if he was the one driving. First one i've noticed doing that in the small amount of videos i watched.

at first i had to stop and check comments about oil sign it was creepy! but damm good sound (both turbo and exhaust) hope to see more of those cars on ring!
it was really cool seeing the boost gauge to see how your working the throttle that would be cool as hell to see you use a gas and break input on screen some time

All the turbo sounds with this one, can hear it sucking in air and the turbo flutter on lift off, don't think you'll ever get bored of that 😂

The 4C is such a gorgeous car, i mean, we all know you can't get nor afford (the normal person) an 8C, and the 4C looks so much like it....mid engine, turbo, DCT, super light weight, full carbon monocoque, full composite body, Brembo's on all 4 corners, and a center of gravity that's 7cm lower than a damn Lotus Elise...... and its got a little 1.7L turbo I4....so you know its easy to make a big jump in power if you need AND it'll be good on gas.... what more could you want??😅
We need another lap, and hopefully a clean one to see what could have been.

This car needs a new 3” down pipe and exhaust. That change allows the car to pull hard all the way to redline. In Race mode redline raises 200 rpm, but stability control is turned off. With some wet sections of track, Misha was keeping stability control active. There are few instances where this 2200lb car would benefit from power steering, 3 point turns, and long fast corners. Track days can be a workout. The car was imperfect from the factory, but a few simple mods make it an immensely fun car to drive. The sounds it makes with a EC V2 air intake are amazing. My 4C will always be in my collection. 14k miles w/o a single problem. It has been given many Italian Tuneups on and off the track😛

I had almost forgotten about this thing, not sure if I've seen a tuned one before like this, they are so cool but was alot of "drama" around it when it came out, the headlights, maybe some handling issues in the beginning so you dont see much of these, but super cool cars!

Had a crazy guy drive me around in one of them years ago, what he did on public road was insane with like 3 or 4 people in that small car... maniac..! Dont think he had a license even.. anyway... the car behaved like a damn gokart! It was amazing!

Misha it seems that you took it easy in the corners. Is that because it's a short wheel base MR platform? For some reason I see these spinout more often than not. Reminds me of the 2nd gen MR2. SECOND QUESTION: Did you feel everything through the steering wheel since it was a true manual steering rack? kthxbye
It was tough to steer, but not as good feeling as a Lotus
could be unleashed much more, love the look of these, would love to see an 8c run the ring but they are crazy expensive
it would be nice to have a view over Misha's shoulder so we get a centre onboard cockpit view.

Yes, it's particularly light due to the carbon cell and aluminium front/rear, but he quoted dry weight (no oil ?😄).
The Italians are just like that. Ferrari and Lamborghini do the same.
they claim 895 dry on my 4c aswell. i weighed it and it‘s exactly 1000kg

I had a Launch Edition one of these and the McPherson strut rear end was scary with all its toe changes. It never felt like you could trust the rear of the car. Felt like it was floating around
That can be solved by uniball rear arms from GMS, like this car also has @TeamGwelup
