Knights of the Round Table Trailer - Directed by Richard Thorpe and starring Robert Taylor, Ava Gardner, Mel Ferrer, Anne Crawford, Stanley Baker. In Camelot, kingdom of Arthur and Merlin, Lancelot is well known for his courage and honor. This wasMGM's first movie in CinemaScope. The studio---like all the other Hollywood studios, except for Paramount---had to pay $25,000 per film to 20th Century-Fox, which had not only created CinemaScope, but trade-marked the process.
