Service is inevitable everyone serves another even a king it is the fact that service is given scale of importance that is the issue. Importance gives the opportunity to hide acts which then opens the ability to hold sway when these acts are known by others thus corruption begins and with it control and with control slavery. All service is equal and therfore should be treated equally no one above another all acts open and accessible to all

While i greatly appreciate the search for historical facts in lore and legend, a part of me is sad...I would like the legends to be true. I would like a real life Arthur, Merlin, Morgana and Camelot with all the magic and mystery which surround them. A Celt warrior- lord, while historically accurate, simply does not have the same appeal as the mythical Lord of Camelot, who was raised by Myrddin and pulled Excalibur from a rock.

The legend is true . Study the works of Alan Wilson and Blackett (Or visit Britain's hidden History -you tube)--Arthur was indeed real (It was commonly taught in schools in Wales and indeed England, up to 19 22 when all was lost (removed) . There were in fact 2 Arthurs 1 and 2 (300ad and 500 ad ) They were both very courageous and unifying Kings and had much more influence and power than is written of them . And their real history is incredibly interesting and answers many questions. (The above film is sadly nonsense, as are most of the books and writings of Arthur.

His legends was shut down by the Roman Church. They kept the Hebraic Laws, the Ten Commandments. They were Christian before the 325 Roman Holy Bible got in there because Joseph of Arimathea went to Glastonbury straight after the Passion of Christ.
All because of one verse Roman 10:4 Christ is the end of the Law, which is a clear lie, and the Knights all kept the Law!! Read Matthew 5:17-20 to see an uncorrupted verse that directly contradicts what paulitician says, till Heaven and Earth Ends, the Law remains.

It may sound silly but I’ve always thought that, if you want to believe in a legend , that Arthur did come back in the hour of England’s greatest need. He may not have looked exactly like a knight in shining armour but one can not deny that Winston churchill was, indeed, England’s greatest weapon against Hitler. Does it do any harm to believe in legends if it helps make people feel more comfortable? As I said, it may sound silly but I’ve quite often wondered it. Thank you, very enjoyable 🙏🙏🙏🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

Naturally this Welsh focused program fails to mention the significance of Cornwall in the Arthurian myth. Particularly as “Culhwch and Olwen” and the Welsh Triads place Arthur’s base in Cernyw (Cornwall) at a place called Kelliwic (Celliwig) assumed to be Castle Canyke near Bodmin and the river Camel. The Cornish-language play Beunans Ke circa 1500 also refers to Kyllywyc as Arthur’s base in Cornwall. Little wonder then that Geoffrey of Monmouth (1136) placed Arthur’s birth in Cornwall at Tintagel. I’m surprised that so called academics are so selective in presenting a less than rigorous interpretation of the Arthurian myth.

Yes, I know that Once and future King was written by T.H. White. It was a reference to Arthurian fans like you. I read everything I can find on the legend. I am thoroughly convinced that such a man lived. At the time of the most significant legends, the printed word was not available to the people, so the story tellers would travel, playing their harps, telling their stories from village to village. As the story was retold, embellishments were added or parts subtracted according to the audience and the sage. That was the Dark Ages radio.
Try the Cornwell version. Quite a different take. Enjoy!

I'm amazed that so many of such reviews overlook White when mentioning various post-Mallory re-tellings. Four books in total make up "The Once and Future King". Five, if you include the philosophical sequel "The Book of Merlyn", finally published in 1978 and many decades after it was written (immediately post WW2), allegedly because publishers shunned it due to its strong anti-war sentiment.

From my Welsh ancestors, I am supposed to be a descendant of King Arthur and Morgan Le Fay, I assume that to be from Mordred, their son. I don't know if the Legend of King Arthur is true or not, I don't know if I am a true descendent of his or not, but I'm for sure claiming him as my own.

Every country that needs a virtuous mythological leader needs to remember a few things: if he is English, his wife will be unfaithful; if he is an American, he will be a slaveholder; if he is French she will be a virgin teenager who has mystical visions; if he is German he will kill a dragon and die at the hands of a treacherous warrior; if he is Portuguese, he will return at some point in the future despite having died in a war more than 4 centuries ago; if he is Spanish he cannot be Basque; if he is Italian he has not yet been born; if he is Greek he will never be born; but if he is Russian and does not have many atomic bombs, his country will be invaded by Germans, English, Americans, French, etc...

The only records true knights have of the king Arthur legend, is (Lance o lot)
    .
Camelot. Lancelot. Look at the name Lot? Hansel ? Lancel? O lot.
    .
A Scot, Loot Jackson- was arrested by a guy named Tristan, who had a trist with Quinn. He was kicked out Saint Michel's hump. Loot had to go to the kitchens for killing a rabbit 🐰
    .
I don't know if Freemasons have a record? They could have written the fictional story, to claim they have the Grail. Like they did Robinhood😅
    .
Which brings me to the second Crusades. "King" sent Loot to the Crusades. Second or third?
    .
We have to piece together fact from Freemason.
    .
Loot lost his arm defending Quinn.
There is a knight that made a mechanical arm? A Meccanism?
    .
I'm not saying there wasn't an Arthur but, him and his brother have two completely different names. Hmm.
    .
Could Freemasons have written it to say the sword was in the stone of destiny?
    ..
One blip on a flesh page that says: Loot lost his arm, and was hung.
Tristan had a trist. One page in the book of Kevin.
    .
The medallion found on oak Island of the cross? Is Loot.

If the theories of some are true, that the entire U.K. area was actually composed of dispersed members from the Twelve Tribes of Israel, especially the Northern Kingdom, then the entire Arthurian legend may have come down as an adaptation of the real history of King David and his son King Solomon. Especially Solomon, as his kingdom achieved the greatest time of peace, prosperity, wisdom (though sadly he eventually went against that wisdom), and international trade & influence in the history of either the Northern or Southern kingdoms.

Some heresies about Arthurian Legend for you.
    a. There is no mention of the Arthur story before Monmouth and Oxford in 1135. Gildas, Bede and others do not mention King Arthur, let alone the rest of the legend.
    b. The great hero of Arthurian Legend is Joseph(us) of Arimathaea, who is said to have been a knight working for Commander (Emperor) Vespasian.
    c. Several of the manuscripts (especially in the Vulgate Cycle), say that Arthurian Legend was written by Josephus Flavius in the 1st century.
    Troubling, eh?
The answer to all this can be seen in that Arthurian Legend only appears with Monmouth and Oxford, after Crusaders and Templars arrived back in Europe from the Crusades. And note that the First Crusade went to Antioch-Edessa, Beyond the Euphrates, before it went to Jerusalem.
    What is the connection here?
The Answer is that the Crusaders knew there were gospel secrets in Edessa, that had remained hidden behind the velvet veil of the Council of Chalcedon and the iron curtain of lslam, ever since the 5th and 8th centuries. That is why Eschenbach’s Parsival starts its Arthur story in Mesopotamia under King Barus (King Agbarus, the 1st century of Edessa). That is why High History says that Perceval was the nephew of the gospels’ Nicodemus. That is why Perceval’s father owned the donkey that had belonged to the gospel Nicodemus.
    All very troubling, eh?
The answer is that Arthurian Legend is actually a secular gospel, about the historical Jesus as a real, secular, 1st century king of Edessa. But it was dressed up as a 5th or 6th century story of Britain, to evade Church censors (and Church funerary pyres). In reality the Galles (the Welsh) refers to the Eunuch Galli priests of Galilee and Syria. Which is why Jesus asked for his disciples to become eunuchs in Math 19:12.
That is why Simon was called Peter-Kephas, the stone, because the Holy Grail of Arthurian legend was a sacred stone - the sacred omphalos-elagabal stone of the Galli priests of Syria. The stone that Scottish Templars claim they still possess x the Stone if Scone.
There is much more to this story than meets the eye.
See the book ‘The Grail Cypher’
Why no King Jesus in the line-up of the nine famous king-knights?
…well he is there - he is called King Arthur.
    Ralph Ellis

British are experts in blurring reality into a fantasy story when they are not capable of dealing with the real origins of their culture. Same happened when the Romans conquered the Celtics, they were overwhelmed with civilization they never knew so they embraced the Roman culture forgetting their real love of nature, they were told that was demonic and forced to forget. Then the Christians came and told them the same and forced them to think the old Celtics were demonic based on another fantasy created by Constantine. Their REAL origins are probably more beautiful and fantastic than whatever ancient Arthur fantasy book. It seems the origins were more of little villagers living out of the nature of the land and had their own greatness without any "big shot" king and knew how to get along with their neighbors before some narcissistic Romans arrived. Reality is better than fantasy.
