Stan Kenton's 23 Degrees North 82 Degrees West has a pretty cool trombone soli in the beginning Roy Hargrove's Big Band "September in the Rain" has a good little trombone soli from 2:15-2:30, both are super killing charts
Anything with trombones is great; any kind of trombone; soprano, alto, tenor, bass and contrabass! Oh I left out valve trombones; sorry fellas! Next time!
Might I suggest Torque’s (Alan Baylock) soli after the solo section (you already did the intro, in the first video, but the PrimeTime album is way better) And also Mood Indigo by Wycliffe Gordon Also the soli in Old King Dooji by Duke Ellington, either the standard album or Essential Ellington recording by TJO
