That first perk of getting in to the parks for free is a pretty big perk, I must say. My first job as a teenager was Little Caesars, and the employee discount was 1$ off everything. Worked at DHL mail, from like age 20-26 and the big perk was every month we'd get a 75$ bonus on our check. My previous job was a nightmare. It was a simple job, just restocking groceries at a grocery store overnight. Only, there were only 3 other guys that I worked with, and 2 of them absolutely despised each-other., to the point they would verbally insult each other with cussing and swearing while customers are in the store.
Perks are okay, but ultimately what I tell myself when working a new job is A) either the job is easy, and the people are terrible, or B) The job is terrible, and the people are nice. An old friend of mine got me a job working with him doing graveyard shift at a gas-station, and I originally turned him down, until I went in and met everyone, the money is pretty good, but what kept me here is the fact that the people are good human beings, and the job has a lot of down time.

I worked at fantasyland and Toontown restaurants as a quick service cashier from 2014-16. It was great at first but it ran its course pretty quickly.

@@MagicallyElena I figured!!! I heard they’re not very flexible with giving you vacation days or off days. People have been saying the same about the food and beverage that they don’t get paid enough for how much they do. I don’t think I’ll accept the offer, I initially applied for attractions and photo pass photography and they said they didn’t have a spot so they offered me the hostess job. I used to work at a restaurant and hated it I feel like I would be miserable again regardless if it’s Disney! Hopefully you’ll get yo transfer soon :)

@@ItsAlwaysJenny yup I should have just waited for merchandise or guest relations which I actually applied to but I didn’t want to wait. Best of luck to you.
