The shop currently uses PPG Deltron 2000 system with standard shopline clear jc630 and gro9000 for the production vehicles. I bought a couple of DV1's about a year ago, I run 1.3 with C1 for imports, insurance and self pay vehicles and I use 1.4 C2 for the primary production and fleet vehicles. I have other guns but currently these are the ones I use the most.

I am currently a step above beginner in the auto paint industry and am having trouble finding the most consistently smooth and easy spraying clear coat gun. I am an IWATA lover myself. I just bought the dv1 clear gun. Any simple tips on what to expect for a first time user? Thanks again and keep up the great paint work AND content! Cheers
Dv1 is my clear gun of choice. It is a smooth gun, less air pressure than iwata. Iwata also is a great gun. The biggest thing is consistency. And gun time hope this helps and thanks for the support 👍 👊👊👊
Yes you are 100% right about the C1 it funny that you made this video tonight because just went back to my C1 cap today I like the C2cap to but like we talked about on another video C1cap is still tops!!!!

At the moment my set up is 1.4 base clear c2 with 1.2
C2 for production painting all day.. c1 for a complete or nice restore.

This ^^^
B cap is a little wider pattern and also a little thinner. The b+ cap is a little narrower and wetter.

When u spray at 22 psi is that at the digital gauge on the gun or at the base?I got the same gun and spray at 20 on the gauge which equals 30psi

Hi kandy man. Quick question. Use used a euro clear ppg shop line. But unfortunately clear dive back. I can figure out to make to stay wet looking,.
Slow harder is your best bet, that's what the cheaper clears tend to do
