kingscrusher Can you redo this video? I know the content is the same, but the way you are now is so much better. The relaxed and jovial version of yourself, who has a calm voice is just a massive improvement. Honestly, the guy you were then compared to now is like comparing a random guy to Howard Stern.
I read Kasparov's annotations to this game and he said he simply did not see the long queen move. Ironically, Petrosian used a long queen move Qh8!! to retain his title against Spassky the on his first attempt to gain the title.
I noticed that you said the 1st game was 81 and the next was 91. I think that Kasparov was a little reckless in this game. I think he matured alot when you compare the 2nd game (even though he still lost).
The best defender ever, excelent video!!

BEST chess lectures online.
thx again for this amazing series.
Hi KC, I was wondering if you could do a series like this again (conquering a style). This is SO interesting!
Both game 1 and 2 took place in 1981. The first in Moscow, April 8, 1981 and game 2 in Tilburg, Mid October of 1981.
I really love Petrosian's style of defence - counter. I just wish i was a better player and could see deeper.
Great analysis Kingscrusher. Thumbs up!
great video, thanks! a small note on 04:51; kasparov's book is called "how life imitates chess", not "how chess imitates life".

I hope this help me, I'm barely beating the machine on the lowest level...
