@PortoFrancoRecords yea he's been playing free at a small cafe in tucson every friday night. runs that gig solo too which i prefer because it showcases his talent more.
Good Stuff...Damn, I need to stop smokin,,,Out of breath just watchin. One day I may be able to do that..Prolly not, but gives me some good incentive to get back to my music.
If you just started to play then good luck and enjoy. Harmonica is all about the heart and soul, emotion you know? Listen to as much Sunny Boy Williamson as you can... X x
If it makes good music, it don't matter how many holes it has. For the record however, Tom is playing a 10 hole diatonic harmonica. Hard to believe that many notes out of a tiny little instrument. This guy is way beyond good. I felt like smoking a cigarette after watching this and I gave them up 20 years ago! I plan on visiting iTunes!
come on down here to deep louisiansa i here this and better dont count these old guys out and yet some are 100+ but can still blow a barn door off when they play theses old guys dont care they will make your soul bleed.........
"Amazing" if that's what your ears tell you. "Amazing" might better describe Toots T.,Hendrik M. and Howard Levy when they play harmonica. Tom W. is solid playing the same old riffs and licks faster and louder but even Sonny Terry (if he were here today) would probably encourage some originality and taking the harp further on than regurgitating the echoes in the wagon wheel ruts.
Obviously Amazing! BUT - Why is it so important to play super-fast? John Popper played a million notes a second, but the first "How To" book I ever read suggested that the "sweetness of expression" should be the goal of the harp player. They said noth ing about playing as fast as possible. Was the best guitar player also the fastest? Just my humble opinion.
i watch this 3 times a day

The song was written this way its a train.
no thats what you Māoris are best in:)
Or not in prison... harmonicas aren't allowed in most prisons these because of the metal that can be used to make "knives".
lucky bastards.
I'm not a smoker (thank God!), but since when is music one of the reasons people smoke??? Music is meant for enjoyment, not suicide!
wow this guy is brilliant. he must have spent his whole life in prison.
Devil seen him play and the devil said "oh hell no"
To fast! Slow down & let’s hear some good blues notes?
... at least we have teeth and McDonald's, but no banjos and no Bjork :op
