I was the only mexican there. and this man sat and had supper with me...did I felt honored. yessss. Buddy Greene is a down to earth person and so is Jeff Taylor...what a nice guys...from Javier.
WOW! I've never heard ANYONE play classical music on a harmonica. Absolutely loved it! Especially the last one! We know it as the famous "Lone Ranger" theme. That was AWESOME!
So many people asking “What Key ?”- “Chromatic?” And then telling us, he “Transposed this”- “Inverted that” & shifted whatever, then complain about the woman laughing- - - This guy is simply a God level musician on a pocket piece, , , , Soak it up and enjoy, virtuosos like this don’t come around that often. GO BUDDY! You’re awesome
I've played harmonica for 24 years and have never heard anything to beat this! My hats off to you sir. The type of crossing and switching you do is for most harmonica players to only dream about, including me.
I met Buddy in Texas. He plays amazingly mesmerizing harmonica. I was right at his side, holding the music sheet for him while he play. How lucky I am folks hee! Brilliant! - a lot of 'fudged' notes, but there are only 10 holes on such a harmonica (so I wouldn't even attempt to play those choons), so he does an amazing job and delivers each genre with such enthusiasm you have to love him! :-))

Buddy is truly an incredible harp player,( and singer)! He almost exclusively uses Hohner 'Golden Melody' diatonic harmonicas. Although he has pitch perfect control bending notes-he does not use 'overblows', or 'overdraws'.He occasionally may use a harp with a 'minor tuning' to get that Middle Eastern sound when a song calls for it. .
Ne Ni Too bad it has such a bad rep like they mentioned. As a classical trombone player who plays it too, I get so many situations where I'll be asked by band members what instruments I play. It goes like this every time: "What do you play?" "Oh, trombone, euphonium, trumpet, a bit of piano, harmonica-" *laughs, then realizes I wasn't kidding*

I played that Bach piece for my senior year UIL concert (on saxophone, not harmonica). I practiced for 6 months straight for that. Buddy played it much better than I did.
Buddy Greene your welcome in Ireland any time, playing like that, you should think of preforming in Belfast. You would have people students and all wanting you to teach them a lesson or two, maybe three n music that is. Irish Humour. Man that sound you play when preforming that Orange Blossom is yes baby more. Though I am straight is WOW !!!
Who needs an orchestra when you could have Buddy Green playing. He made it sound as if a full orchestra was playing the Bach, Mozart and Rossini extracts. I particularly liked the William Tell at the end.

10 holes but 20 notes. Although diatonic. So he has to bend the reeds to get the accidentals.
