G.F.Händel: Arrival of the Queen of Sheba. Harp, Seána Davey

Premiered first in March 1749, as the first scene in the third act in the oratorio, "Solomon".
With a nod to traditional Irish music in the embellishments in this arrangement for harp by Seána Davey.

What an acoustically exquisite arrangement! The videography is delightful - in particular the clever use of reflection in the glass panes. The venue enhances the harp and Seana's outfit with a charming backdrop. The expression combined with the gentle rocking of the harp shows Seana is "in the zone" The little "dink" at the end is a thoughtful touch.
