Flowey was an experiment made by alphys. She wanted to make a 3rd medium to use monster souls/determination to shatter the barrier, as she took the most prized flower from Asgore’s garden and began to experiment on it with processed determination. The flower which had grown from Asriel’s dust, gained sentience, and fled the lab with Asriel’s memories. With the most determination of every creature at the time, it did everything it could think of, until it got bored and frisk showed up,

Chara is a completely different Character, they fell in the Underground long before your own character and they became like a sibling to Asriel, who is the son of Toriel and Asgore, they made a Plan with Asriel to free the Monsters, therefore Chara had to kill themself so Asriel would get their soul and become a godlike being, since humans and monsters cannot pass the barrier to get out. But as Asriel wanted to bring the Body of Chara in their village to the flowers where their body should rest, but humans attacked Asriel, he Didnt fight back and so Asriel returned mortally wounded to the Underground, where he died and later got revived as a speaking soulless flower by accident. Chara can be revived at the end of every Genocide Route, but they arent human anymore, they were watching you the entire time, even in the Genocide Route, and this turned them into some sort of demon

Then, Asriel died... His dust spread around the garden.... He then turned into Flowey! Which, since he had no Soul, and was a Flower, He had no emotions! He tried very hard to feel emotions, But failed.... Then, He got bored of the world... He tried to die... But, He somehow thought "No... I don't want to die!" He got determination! (Just like the player!) And could keep coming back to life! That's basically all the important stuff I could think of!

@@Aquaviousyuri Chara isn't evil though. During the genocide route when Chara is talking at the end she seems like the bad guy. But if you do it twice, she will say you have a perverted personality. She is soulless in the first genocide route but after you give her your soul she can begin to feel emotions again. If you do a true pacifist after the genocide, she won't want you to have a good ending after you killed everyone. You are the villain.
