Instead of tiny engine Fiat has added a 160 HP multiair turbo charged mighty monster under the hood making the new Fiat 500 Abarth the best sounding car under $25.000 you can purchase today. Recently team TFLcar had the chance to drive 10 road cars on a racetrack to see just how well they perform when they are pushed to their maximum. Roman is no race car driver but he did the best he could to get a fast time from this set of 10 road cars. At number 8 the 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth Cabrio put down the 7th fastest time. Your review seems to confirm the maxim that is more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slowly. The car does have a nice exhaust note, too bad there was no tunnel to run it through and listen to the sound echoing off the walls.

The ST ain't the RS, sad to say. The ST looks like the kind of car I played with as a kid that when rolled across the carpet, sparks would fly out the ass end. And what's up with the seats that look like props from a Star Trek set? Sorry...the ST has the engine but everything else falls flat on its face. Like the Fiesta ST though. That has potential. Fat Focus weighs what, 3200-lbs?
