I have the Titus version and it's AWESOME. It flies and the frame is extremely well made, climbs like Spiderman and is so stable and confidence inspiring, I can ride it faster than the full suss Intense Tracer I sold after buying it. Honesty it needs riding to appreciate. Ive been riding mountain bike since Raleigh released the very first Maverick in 1987 and this thing is easily the best bike Ive ever ridden.
The Titus Loco Moto frame came with a lifetime warranty for the original owner. The usual warranty with an On One is two years, is this the case here ? Mind my Hello Dave has a 2 year warranty and I think it will survive forever !
I really love the bike and the review. I’ve owned several Planet X / On One products and always had a great experience. But, full disclosure, what does mean when this video is ‘supported’ by Planet X?
Ey up TeaTV, basically Planet-X approached me to do a series of videos covering all their latest bikes so as that was a proper commission rather than one off videos off the back of other test videos I asked them for some cash for the time they take . I also wear Carnac kit in these edits, so they don't count towards Giro sponsorship and I don't run ads on them so I'd be really out of pocket if I didn't get some costs towards them. Hopefully you'll realise they're still totally honest reviews, but TBH the Wrekker doesn't really have many bad points unless you like manuals, tight switchbacks and schralping.
@@GuyKesTV thanks Guy. An excellent reply and only serves to reinforce the superb content and values upon which your channel is based. On the Wrekker, I’d love one but I’d like a hard tail that can be used at the pump track, which of course this isn’t. I’ve just built a Planet X Jack Flash which is decent compromise. Love the Wrekker / Hello Dave - perfect bikes for the hardtail class in mini enduro races next year! Thanks again
I know I'm late to the party. In the mood for a new bike, which one of these Ti bikes from Planetx (on-one/Titus) are most similar to the Nuke proof scout290?
What sort of riding do you most enjoy on your Scout? The Vandal is the no brainer all round choice, but if you like silly steep stuff and proper rad handling the Wrekker is an absolute blast. Way better than you'd think at climbing too, but the handling can be a chore on really tight trails
@@GuyKesTV Ahh, this has the wireless transmittion and Lyric sus. Like it needs any of that !? This bike is soo unique, and rare, nobodies reviewing it but you. This is another appealing thing for me, nobody else has got one but me in my area. It's a real Unicorn.
Ey up Andy, yes but it's sold under the Titus brand. That means you get a better warranty though 👍 www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/CBTIEVGXAXS/titus-el-viajero-sram-gx-axs-mountain-bike

Thanks for the feedback Arthur. Maverick was a beast eh! Could never afford one back then but my daughter has an ancient Mirage that she loves!
I'll be honest, a 62 degree head angle on a hardtail just isn't for me, but I'm sure some will love it!

I'm down there today picking up two Titus bikes for a big test trip so I'll ask.
The long chain stays have always put me off having this(Loco) or Hello Dave.

What's the difference between this and the Loco!? Its looks identical !? 🤔
You're right Bob, absolutely nothing different apart from the graphics and the Titus had a lifetime warranty

Is there a shorter travel, steeper, less radical Ti on one model that'd be better in the tight stuff ?
