      Down: Makalu red from Decathlon
      Wind breaker: Forclaz 3in1 Padded Jacket Rainwarm 500 Black from Decathlon
      Marino base : Forclaz MT500
      What I used. De not trek in down jacket. Down jacket is for resting

    Did you not know that there is a much more impressive high trail going up via Mong La - Phortse - Pangpoche instead of the low trail via Tengboche? Vastly better views high across the valley, lots of wildlife and practically no other trekkers. Only come down via Tengboche. Does not make any sense to walk the same trail twice when there is a superior alternative available. Agencies and guides are too lazy and unimaginative to suggest the High Scenic Trail via Phortse.

      @@karipintakivi9153 , got it. I hired a guide. The guide, who happened to be not that friendly, decided the route for me :(

      @@the-sunny-side-up Too bad. The truth said many guides are not service oriented trying to make the trip best possible to the clients. Just get it done with using the fastest and easiest route. Next time...
