The only frustation here is the non auto diming display. idk what u were expecting for 50 bucks man. this thing has fitness tracking comparable to 300 dollar watches and i am not complaining
Not impressed by the review. What do you expect for less than £50? I can't see any 'frustrations' with any of the Band Huawei watches, the strap on mine IS Silicone, and I have no issues with the clasp. I've had a Band 6 for ages and love it. Looked at a Band 7 when they came out, and couldn't see any advantages to upgrading - same applies to the Band 8 having read some reviews this morning. If my Band 6 fails, I would only consider another Huawei band - it interfaces so well with my Huawei phone.
Sounds like a tracker with what is needed and not a lot of functions that are not needed. Good then. Most points of criticism are easily turned into positives.
I think you are confusing the concepts of smart watch and smart bracelet... and brightness will not save your battery. i have used my phone almost 2 years with auto brigness and battery saver mode, then switched them off and nothing changed - the battery last the same time... all depends of usage time...
Hello, I know I'm 10 months late, but I recently bought a Huawei Band 8 from Aliexpress. Based on a few walks/runs I noticed that the band's distance measure is a bit off (~12% shorter as a matter of fact). My band is always connected to my Samsung Galaxy A24 and location is turned on. Why is it still so inaccurate even though I've turned on the location access permission?
I can confirm that it switches off in the sauna at 70 deg +, maybe in direct sunlight too when it's very hot. But that makes sense, right? It does have a lithium battery 🔋 in it.. safety😊
It is a fitness watch not a device for calling people or texting.. when you are gyming or training you do not want notifications disturbing you or need a.i or a mic for a.i ... you dont know what you talking about lol.. stay out of the fitness gadgets.
this watch is for minimalist, for sportsman and woman, this is not for you.. your review is for you only hahahaha because your to old for this watch this is for young people..

Same i have 6 and is still verry good
"Just" 9 days okay boomer, compared to what, a samsung product where the battery doesn't last for a day
Haha exacly.

Thx for your comment
I guess these compromises are intentional so you buy the watch fit if you need a better spec band
Hi Ali, agreed to some extent. But if I was whole heartedly singing accolades to the Huawei Band 6 & 7, I am unable to do that for the latest tracker
Were you expecting all these from 40$ band? The only frustation here is the non auto diming display.
It’s a fitness band and happy with the detailed health algorithm.dnt need to make calls will do that with my fon through my earphones.
Is it just my eyes or are the bezels smaller 9n all the promotional material, while the bezels on the actual watch look huge

Can you use it out from the box as a watch with hours and minutes without the phone and the app?
Some people are saying : it doesn't do well against hot weather and some even says it stops, could you test that?

Thank you sir, you have a great channel, full support
