It's kind of crazy that Hans Zimmer has now composed for the Holy Trinity of Superhero film franchises (Batman, Superman, and Spider-man), and yet it was in the least liked film of the Spider-man film saga that he turned out what is, in my opinion, unquestionably his finest and most heroic piece of his entire career. I tend not to like Hans Zimmer as a composer, but I will not acknowledge this score as anything other than the PERFECT musical representation of Spider-man that it is. The man absolutely understood the assignment here.

Yeah, but I’m glad Andrew at least managed to get one last shot within No Way Home to show the world that he was a good Spider-Man. I know people who still hate the TASM movies (mostly due to writing problems rather than Andrew, who most would agree turned in a great performance) but loved Andrew in NWH because it felt like the writers treated Andrew better in the MCU than in his own movies. (Personally, I think Andrew was always a good Spider-Man. Never my favorite, but an amazing one nevertheless.)
