CharlemagnePalace no, I definitely do not have the confidence for that. Filming myself playing guitar is one thing; I can try again and again until I get it right. Playing live is quite another...I certainly couldn't do it. There's only one person I've ever played in front of.
Two of the books (A Storm of Swords and A Dance With Dragons) are split into two parts in some box sets. It's weird and I don't know why. I'm not sure if they were originally published as two parts or if they were split after the fact. But yeah, some sets only have five books. But as far as I know, that's just because they haven't been split in those sets.
@@mikemarsh3569 as far as I know, yes. I compare it to how the Lord of the Rings was written as one book, but originally published as three separate ones. Now, you can find editions of Lord of the Rings as three separate books as well as being able to find it sold as one book. I don't know why some versions of this book series have two of the books separated/combined. But again, as far as I know, the content is identical.
every time I see you I just think you're even more adorable. I love Game of Thrones too. I've been lucky enough to work & photograph some cast members. These books are the best! love The Works too. Amazing prices in there! I wish you had other social media I'd enjoy chatting to you for sure.
LOVE YOURSELF I have no idea. I have seen tons of different covers for the books in both countries but as for variance in content, like changed words here and there, I don't know of any.
@@martina-dd6vb translators dont really care about the book most of the time. They just do the job, they do it right but it does not have the original authors words therefore it looses the emotions and magic the author imagined it like in the first place.
WoodooFox yeah that's for sure but not all people can read books in English (or any other language the book was originally written in) when it's not their native language

Love that daredevil poster

I wish there were more box sets that split overly long books into two or more volumes. At a certain... thickness, books become too cumbersome to hold.
My girlfriend got this for me for like $47.00 on Amazon. I love them!
Thanks!
cool set!
Is this the oversize paperback ?
They are paperbacks, I don't know if I'd call them oversized. They're kinda big I suppose
thinking about if you have house of dragons now
PLEASE MARTIN WRITE THE LAST BOOKS!!!!!!
Do you busk? If you can play the guitar might as well busk, right? Pretty good money in it

Was it Jimi Hendrix?
That'd ruin anyone's confidence
CharlemagnePalace lol no. It was someone who I cared very much for, who broke my heart.
You played in front of Danny DeVito?!
CharlemagnePalace heh, no. In front of someone who meant the world to me.

US version is 5 books UK version is 7 books. Content is 100% the same 🔥
Wait why are there two dance with dragons books...? And two storm of swords....?
because there both 2 parts
In the UK they split large paperbacks in half, same with Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight

BritishInvasion91 thanks and by the way I have same set of ' A song of ice and fire ' like you do.
thats a paperback set correct?
This one is, yes.
Is this the smaller paperback (mass market) or normal?
you can buy the american version for only 25 bucks. Only that version doesnt have storm of swords and dance with dragons split up.
i can't wait to learn english to read these amazing books 💔.
Sam Sawd Why? Cant you read them in your native language?
the books are not available for some of native languages.
