Yeah but most of the time those guys get shred the hardest in the industry where the loudest and aggressive is what gains people the most. And even if the middle management plays the way it likes, unfair and egotistic nothing happens.. Its funny that firms do recognize employees as valuable but do not work on teamwork, most engineers need to be team workers to reach nowadays complex aims, but no let's fight all against each other. I think his job is nice, even if electric cars come, just the work content will change
Or a 3 ton aluminum jack. Being a mobile mechanic I had to get one, that and then two bottle jacks. More efficient, saves space and not as heavy as an all steel jack.
Just found this tonight. I do commercial and residential hvac. But enjoy watching and learning about any service work, diagnostics and repairs. Thanks for great content and thorough descriptions!
Man way to pick yourself up by the bootstraps and gettin your business going. I’m just now gettin into being a mechanic a bit later then most and watching you do your thing is inspiring man. Keep up the great work.
Winter must be hard... And with electric cars your job will be at risk some years down the road :-/ You seem to be very honest keep it that way and you will have success
Man I gotta say you seem like a really good guy providing a great service for people making there lives easier. I'm glad your channel is growing hopefully it will help your business grow right along with it.
i just found you a couple days ago and look forward to your videos. keep uploading them regular and your channel will grow quickly! more views equals more monetary compensation. stay safe sir.
I knew a great mobile mechanic in the 80s. He said he own a blue firebird that was used as a camera car for Smokey and the Bandit. Even if its not true it makes a good story and he always got my parents cars working great. I was thinking about what it would take to do this a couple days ago and then saw your channel. Much appreciated!
i like your philosophy on autozone/harbor freight. so much can be said about a place that has medium quality usable tools at such a convenience and still under lifetime warranty. ESPECIALLY when you're in there multiple times a day for parts and fluids and such. way to get good work done at a great productive profitable level. much respect my friend stay safe be well.
Mr Ernest, just want to tell you , I take off my hat 🎩 to you sir on making the move on starting your own business I’m a diesel mechanic for a company , still haven’t had the guts to be out on my own to start my own business that takes some serious cahonesz I salute you man . P.s . Congrats on the baby on the way .. God bless
Great content man. Keep up the good work. Before long you’ll be able to hire someone to video for ya LOL. Keep up the good work from one mobile mechanic to another.
Been a mechanic for 20 years this year, and I wanted to see videos just to see how other people work, I honestly thought I was gonna dislike this channel and critique your work... but I found I like it/you. I like how you are positive, good job... keep it up,ok? Don’t change.ALSO PORT-A-TORCH! Get the small oxygen acetylene torches!!!!!
My friend has a towing/mobile mechanic business in Sweden and he uses a welding bottle filled with compressed air and a regulator down keep the pressure down to 8 bar. He uses all kind of air tools and the bottle lasts a couple of months. The local scuba diving shop fills the bottle for 5$.
@@RoadsideRescue Same co2 bottle a pub/restaurant would use to blow beer/drinks through the pipes works as a shielding gas as well! A lot cheaper than a proper shielding gas like argon being the main for min
not to mention a properly maintained and used air tool won't overheat, burn motors or electronic components, brushes, or batteries. in the long run air is cheaper. there are small portable tanks filled up to 150 bar that can be used too.
Just started watching your vids since last night . I’m from the Uk and a mechanic myself and I still enjoy watching you work on cars and explain things . The channel is gonna take off 👌
Your channel popped up on my recommended list. I’ve watched a few and really enjoy them. You are similar to Eric O @ South Main Auto. Keep the vids coming.
When he said his channel is growing fast, he wasn't playing. Last morning it was 7k, then afternoon it was 8k, now this morning 9k. Congrats for him, he seems humble and clearly knows his stuff
Dope channel dude! Im a college student in a BMW club and a lot of the people there call me up to do basic jobs like brakes, oil changes, power steering stuff, etc. being mobile is sort of a pain but it’s nice being able to work anywhere. I love grabbing tips from your channel!
I agree 100% with your preference for Milwaukee power tools. For me it’s partly because an old time mechanic I knew swore by them, going back many years. He was one of my dad’s best friends.
Watched your "how to be a mobile mechanic" and i'm hooked. I love the insight on what to look for on solutions to a problem. All you need is a little drama (car stolen, blood, ect) and you'll have yourself a TV series! Great work!
Those Milwaukee compressor are great there small and quiet they cost about $350 here in Dallas what I like about them is that I could probably put it anywhere in my truck. I do a lot of mechanic and handy man work so I carry the battery powered Milwaukee. Milwaukee is definitely my favorite
It might seem inconvenient but I had the same problem as you carrying the jack in and out of the truck so I got the smoothest motorcycle ramp I could find and I roll the jack in and out of the truck, makes it so I don’t mind using the jack every time. Also....the Milwaukee tools do make the jobs easier and enjoyable a bit more!!
Hey I’m happy I came cross this channel! I been watching most of your videos! I honestly Inspired by your work! Great work! I recently started this Mobile car mechanic field and I’m learning as I go the mistakes and correct way of doing it! All of this videos it’s helps lot tip and tricks. I really appreciate your work!! Keep it up!
Really awesome how you're living the dream--doing what you love, for yourself, and on your own terms! As an entrepreneur, I applaud your effort and especially your success! I handle most of my own maintenance/repairs myself, but if you're ever in SC I would have some work for you.
I love your channel!, and the ups box truck gives it some sort of odd and unique appeal, it stands out. If I ever have any sort of mobile business I wouldn't mind having a similar set up.
I’ve done a lot of mobile repair work both on my own and as a John Deere dealership mechanic. Once in a while having a top quality hand tool like Snap On sockets or wrenches saves the day. I’ve had cheap sockets break, had to go back to the shop for my good tools, back to the job to finish sometimes lose almost the whole day. They really are INCREDIBLY strong compared to harbor freight or others. Sometimes they seem unbreakable.
I assume with how much Duralast products you buy, that you have some sort of business account with them. It’s not often a RUclips channel inspires me, but this one does. Im excited to see this channel grow. On a side note. Walmart’s brand of carb and brake parts cleaner are just as great as the name brand stuff, and at under 2 dollars a bottle you can’t beat it.
I am a mobile mechanic myself too. I would recommend for you to open a commercial account at autozone, oriellys, advance auto parts and napa. They give you better prices plus you have all your warranty paperwork saved in the system plus you get a copy of every invoice as a full white page not just a receipt. I definitely love having my commercial accounts. Look into it if you havent already. Good job keep up the great work bud
Dude you're the best and I love watching your videos. I hope I can win. I know how to work on my car and truck but they are alot I don't know, I lost my dad in 2019 and Im learning alot through RUclips, you, chrisfix, and 1Aauto are a struggling upcoming adult best friends
I admire your drive. My advice to you is to get paid for what you are worth. You are providing convenience for your customers. I have been there years ago when I had a shop. You work your ass off, being afraid to charge enough. When you go cheap, they are going to be the ones that complained the most! Get Paid!!! Also, invest in quality tools. Don't skimp. Look at the Tool Trucks, like Matco. Great tools not too expensive, they will last and feel good to the hands. Plus, you can do weekly payments.
When you were talking about the air hammer to hit nuts: eastwood has what's basically a screwdriver that you attach to a air hammer. It isn't an impact driver. It just is a straight shaft that has a handle. My brother owns one and he swears by it. I'm sure they make electric hammers so you may want to check that out
I sure have enjoyed your videos since I found the channel! Your subscriber count has more than doubled since then. Man that's great! I've got an old Chevy stepside I've owned for 42 years. I don't know who wants it driving again worse, me or my 32 year-old son! 😂 I'll keep my fingers crossed. 🤞 I don't watch TV anymore, I just watch stuff like this that interests me on RUclips. Thank you for an entertaining Channel. It's nice just to watch a good dude! Much respect from Texas!
Side notes: pay attention to test light current ranges when picking one up! Also I LOVE Milwaukee fuel electric tools, I'd suggest trying out the m12 die grinder for cutting old rusty bolts. And I personally feel the same about air compressor vs battery tools. Lithium tech has changed the game in recent years & only time will tell on longevity of those tools. Keep wrenching! 🔧
Very nice set up you have the Milwaukee tools Are the way to go👍I got that same jump box that you got my nephew talked me into it definitely a great tool..I’m sure you already know handing out business cards is the way to go thanks for the video😎
