    I love Sweet Annie! A gardening client wanted me to dig it out of her herb garden many years ago because it was getting too tall. When I went to discard the “weeds” and debris at the end of the day, they smelled so good that I rescued a couple of them from the compost pile. And I’ve had them ever since! I’ve made door swags and wreaths with them once they get the little yellow balls. I only learned a year ago that they are medicinal! Love it!

    ❤This is a wonderful topic especially now that they're doing great things to help the African people to fight malaria. It's an amazing thing they're growing Artemisia more prolifically in Kentucky and they will be taking out the substances that will attack that disease better and put it in a pill form and God's Word says that "The prudent man will not neglect the MEDICINES that grow out of the ground for the service of mankind." Ecclesiasticus 38:4
    Also..."The healing of the nations will be with My herbs says the Lord." Revelation 22:2
    Thank you doctor very much for posting this God given video.

    It would be very interesting to hear about Artemisia's effect on cancer- I understand that extracts can enter the cancer cell, and cause it to explode due to it's effect on the iron in the cancer cell. Normal cells do not sequester iron in this way.

    Can I just add here that we used a tincture of sweet Annie, along with mushrooms like lions mane, Chaga, turkey tail, etc. and a keto diet to significantly reduce the size of my husband‘s stage four, IDH wild type glioblastoma from the size of a baseball to the size of a small lime in about three months time! We have his MRI’s to show this. I would love to see more research done on Sweet Annie and her benefits when it comes to malignant brain tumors.

      @@InaMaggienda The schedule that I have my husband on is to take two droppers each of the sweet Annie tincture, Chaga tincture, lions mane mushroom tincture, turkey tail tincture, and Maitake mushroom tincture. He puts this into a small glass with hot (not boiling) water and lets the alcohol evaporate for approximately 30 minutes. Then he takes this every day at 7 AM, 10 AM, 1 PM, 4 PM, and 7 PM.
      I want to adhere that this blend is specifically for a glioblastoma brain tumor, and that other cancers have different supporting herbs as well as needs that need to be researched. For example, prostate cancer relies heavily on hormones, and I always advise talking to an herbalist about what plants would be beneficial and which ones to avoid for that particular type of cancer. Good luck and I hope he feels better! ❤️

My Father always used to drink was turmeric but when he felt that he's fine he switch its to guava and guyabano leaves, so i guess while you don't really sure if you are fully recovered don't stop to take it, besides its pure organic❤

    I ran into this plant a few years ago in my research and got some seeds. Haven't had luck growing it and need to get more seeds. Would you tincture any of the aerial parts? Thanks for sharing!

      Yup, leaf, flower, stem...any of the aerial parts. Harvest it when it flowers.

    As a respiratory treatment do you take it in tea form? Would a tincture be too strong?
    I wonder how long this video will stay up with mentioning it as a Covid and Sars remedy.

    • @HomeGrownHerbalist
      @HomeGrownHerbalist  Год назад +4

      I merely mentioned that research has been done showing action. The FDA hasn't approved anything I said in the video. Do a search on google scholar on the Latin name and you'll find some amazing studies.

    I have a large amount of dried Artemisia absinthium. Would it contain the same/similar medicinal properties as Artemisia annua?

    • @HomeGrownHerbalist
      @HomeGrownHerbalist  Год назад +1

      Artemisia annua has much higher artemisinin levels than A. absinthium.

    I have a plant identification app on my phone. I found lots and lots of this wormwood in my garden but my app says it’s toxic! Are their toxic varieties? It looks exactly like the one you showed here.

    Sweet Annie is a finer leaf more airy than regular wormwood. Are they both equally medicinal?
