For what!? Slaves weren't freed by the Emancipation Proclamation. It was quasi-freedom. Have you ever heard of the Black codes?! Slavery didn't really end until Reconstruction. Pick up a book and learn to read.
#1. The civil war was drafted. #2. Some union soldiers attacked and murdered black union soldiers. #3. Black men fought in the civil war, both as free men and slaves. This is what happens when you ban books and teaching history because it makes certain people feel guilty and fragile.

Dr. Opal is truly inspirational. I've only even been inspired by 2 or 3 people over 90 and she really did her part to acknowledge the beauty of freedom for the human race. She said it herself. She wants everyone to treasure the sanctity of life and freedom for all humans.
