JT been gone I believe since 1999. No he’s not JT but he’s doing a great job.
Love "Kool and the Gang" Before JT joined and especially during !!! The Group was never as Successful or Popular as when Brother James J.T.Taylor was the lead Singer !!! He sang lead on most of their Biggest hits and they had a lot more huge Hits with JT !!! When he was fired or left it was really Sad . Why JT is never invited to perform with the Band during Hall of fame induction or for any Reunions is really Sad !!! Why can't people just Forgive & Squash whatever Beef they had ? Check the Ego's and Reconcile, forgiveness before it's too late !!! "Kool and the Gang" are already Old and not every Original member is still with us unfortunately . They never talk about it Honestly either !!! The Fan's Deserve Better !!! I still Love Kool and the Gang and especially Brother James J.T.Taylor "The Voice" it's just not the same without JT !!! 😥😥
@@paulroberts1961 JT left to start a solo career. He has also reunited with the band a few times for live concerts & also did an album with the band. JT was my favorite also but the lead singer is doing just fine.

I never knew they made so many iconic songs.
Chile they made even more than this. They had "Jungle Boogie," "Joanna," "Fresh," "Too Hot," "Cherish" and many more. Back in the late 70s and 80s, they were hot as fish grease!
