Back in 2017, I saw Skillet twice within a matter of 3 weeks. Needless to say I was in a constant state of bliss! They are such an amazing band to see!!

A truly magical moment to be involved in. Skillet's been in my life for about two - three years now, but It's as if I've known them my entire life, and I hope someday I get to witness them performing live myself. My boyfriend and his family was there. I went to another show with my sister during the same time. Skillet is my favorite band. I'm hoping to see them for my birthday in 2023 in Boston. I can't wait. Awesome video though.

Why do they play in a lower tuning live? John isn't struggling vocally, and Feel Invincible wasn't the first song (i originally thought it was because they were too lazy to switch guitars after each song, and Feel Invincible sounds perfect as it's Drop C) some songs like Hero & Not Gonna Die just sound wrong.
I think it’s both the fact that these songs are hard to sing (especially with the amount of energy they put into shows, John has the energy of a teenager) and to not have to switch guitars so often. I also think it makes it easier to transition into other songs, like the transition from surviving the game into legendary, A lot of the drop C stuff are grouped together, so keeping some stuff in its normal tuning and then lowering some songs probably helps John, allows better transitions and keeps guitar switching minimal. They used to just use Drop tuning pedals on the drop A songs and turn them off for drop B but nowadays (atleast for Seth) they just tune down.
