Not really. Lots of first one came down to a few optimized runs since outside of those few builds, theory crafting wasn’t really viable for ascended runs.

Although I've sunk over 100 hours into the game, played the game on many different platforms, and failed on countless runs, I feel like I've barely scratched the surface to Slay the spire's depth. If the sequel is even a fraction of how great slay the spire is, it would still be excellent. I'm looking forward to this!

My biggest hope is they add more characters to go through the gauntlet or at the very least allow it to be accessible for modders to be able to make them. Playing through this game was phenomenal and didnt care too much about encounters being the same, i was always just so excited to try a new build, or try a new character
