My dad always tells a story about when he was a young kid and he met Paul White (Big Show) when he was still working as a bouncer. He said he was a really cool guy who was nice to nearly everyone
My dad & his coworkers were out late on their job and stopped in to a Denny’s diner to get something to eat and Paul White (the Giant at the time), Kevin Nash, and a couple other lesser known WCW job guys were having a meal. My dad came home late that night and told me. He said he didn’t wanna be embarrassing or annoy them, but as he was leaving he gently “kicked” the Giant’s shoe with his and said that he was his son’s favorite wrestler. Lol

I don't think I've ever seen this ad, but holy crap, Paul "The Show Giant" Bigwight is so naturally comfortable here, where he's just himself, in his own skin, even puts me at ease. Perhaps he reminds me of a few bigger friends I've had in my lifetime. The fitter-looking physique and neat haircut, and the lackadaisical "oh, well, what do you do, it happens" reactions to hitting the freshly repaired, arched entrance, or yoinking off the taxi door, makes for an endearing, charming spokesgiant.

You are correct, sir! Surely you've watched episodes of "Learning the Ropes" with Lyle as a teacher who moonlights as a wrestler who's still a bit green, and with NWA guest stars (or was it the AWA?). He left us too soon, but not without some trenchant advice against PEDs and such that he used in his NFL career.
I remember to watch this exactly youtube video when I was 11 or 12yo, I'm here again with 23 watching this masterpiece.

@Jaequan Smith So many things wrong with this. It's not even funny. This was more like 2000-2001. Big Show was still working for WCW at the time. Big Show had chest length hair at that time. The WWF attitude era logo didn't exist until the last bit of 1997. So on and so forth.

I remember my dad saw him at his job at a car dealership. He was purchasing a Lincoln Navigator which was obviously the biggest vehicle in the lot...lol!! My dad got an autograph from him, but I remember when my dad told me that when he grabbed a pen to sign his autograph....you couldn't even see the pen in his hands at all since he is really that big.... 😂😂
