  • We settled on this trampoline for our little one after researching and pricing numerous brands and models. We chose the Merax 14-Feet Round Trampoline with Safety Enclosure, Basketball Hoop and Ladder based on the features, reviews and price. This is about a 3 hour project to assemble this, but don't worry, watch this video and I guarantee I'll show you how to shave an hour off of the process!

    What I love about my new BCAN 40" trampoline is that the instructions ruclips.net/user/postUgkxJ9gj6zjuYQvwe_l9UB_7kOOVd_fIIC5Q and video were easy to follow and setup. A little maneuvering necessary, but all of the steps needed were included. The trampoline is sturdy and I love the ability it has to fold down to store away. The handle bar is perfect for stability and maintaining alignment. I just received this morning and set up within the hour. It was not difficult, but you need to watch the video and read through instructions prior to putting together. I'm already using and love that you can get cardio workout in 10 minutes, and it's fun to do. I plan to use everyday and will test out it's durabiity to withstand my 110 lbs. If special exercises could be posted for use with the BCAN, that woud be an added bonus! So far, I'm loving my new BCAN trampoline and looking forward to using it for many years.

    I recently put up a trampoline in our yard for our grandkids. I was surprised that the netting on this one didn't have a screw and bolt at the top of each pole. Ours came with 6 caps, and each cap had a bolt fixed in it on one side. You put the cap on the pole, then the net with a loop that fit over the cap. The cap, and net had matching holes.
    I imagine each trampoline is similar, some have a screw at the top of each pole, and some don't. The only thing to be aware of when attaching the net to the trampoline, is to make sure you pull the string tight/snug, as you go around the trampoline. If you don't you will have gaps, and the string provided may not be enough to go all the way around. I lucked out on that because I almost made the mistake of not pulling the string snug. I had to undo one but after that it was fine.

    We purchased this trampoline (12ft) for our son for Christmas this year (2020). I came looking for help (video) on how to weave the rope along the bottom of the enclosure and the triangle rings. It's our last step and for the life of me cannot make this make sense in my brain. The instructions (Fig 16) just crapped out on me. I will attempt today to complete this project. Thanks for your video - at least confirmed for us that we got the rest up properly.

    Great video - we bought a very similar looking, but not identical (though it's been 3 years so maybe updated?) tramp, and I hit a wall with the mesh netting so googled and found your video (having threaded and rethreaded twice and determined I'm still getting it wrong).
    Our instructions also didn't say what the covers over the poles were for, we were perplexed by the random bundle since they're obviously meant for *something*, so that mystery is solved too :)

    • @TheDealDorkReviews
      @TheDealDorkReviews  Год назад

      Excellent question. In high winds I typically pull my trampoline closer to my house and tie it to my porch as an anchor. One time when we were under tornado watch I actually removed the legs and set the trampoline on the ground and put some heavy stones on top to be safe.

    I just bought this and will be putting it together so thank you for the great video. Did you figure out how to attach the ladder? Crazy how the instructions just petered out like that! And thanks for the tip that the loops might not fit over the balls, I sew, so would have no issue making those loops bigger and reinforcing on my sewing machine.

    • @TheDealDorkReviews
      @TheDealDorkReviews  6 лет назад

      The ladder just hooks over the rail (underneath the skirt). For such a great trampoline, they really got lazy at the end of the instructions. You will be happy with the purchase. Mine is still outside during the winter uncovered and is holding up nicely. Next year I plan to take down the net and get a trampoline cover to better protect it. Good luck!

    Thanks for the great video, I love the look of this tramp read a lot of bad reviews and got a little scared....how’s it holding up after all this time. I prefer it to most models I see in this price range because of the weight limit, great for when we have company over.

    • @TheDealDorkReviews
      @TheDealDorkReviews  6 лет назад +3

      Racquel Coffie I read all of the same reviews and ended up getting this one also because of the higher weight limit. Inevitably multiple kids will end up jumping on any trampoline so the higher weight limit was a must. Plus I'm a heavy person and have jumped on this consistently over the course of a year without issue. The bottom line is this trampoline is heavier duty than most and is holding up very well after being exposed to a very snowy and long winter here in the northeast. If you put it together properly, you shouldn't have any issues.

  • @jordanhansing

    How did you go about attaching the enclosure to the basketball hoop bar? I also had issue with some of the loop rings not fitting over the ball. Just used the excess strap to tie a knot around the ball.

    • @TheDealDorkReviews
      @TheDealDorkReviews  6 лет назад +1

      Unfortunately I used a zip tie, which was not ideal, but the nylon stretched a bit over time and I was able to fit it around the ball later.

    • @TheDealDorkReviews
      @TheDealDorkReviews  7 лет назад

      The basketball net connects to the posts in the same way that the rest of the poles that support the net. I sort of did it out of order because the instructions were not clear. The only difference is it's a different pole that is longer and obviously attaches to the basketball hoop. Does this answer your question?

      I've owned this for more than half a year and it has been used pretty extensively. My daughter and her dance friends are on it constantly. I'm in the northeast which has pretty good temperature swings, so it's seen 95 degree weather with the sun hitting it all day and 10 degree weather with snow and it still is holding up wonderfully. No rust to be found anywhere and it's seen plenty of rain. Still not much squeaking. I do plan to take down the posts and cover with a tarp for the winter. I still highly recommend this product!
