Farewell was a religious experience. I was there have replayed this song about 80 times. So moving.....just a emotionally heavy experience. What a band!
i just got home from seeing them and oh my god. soft edge live was the greatest thing i’ve ever heard. my mouth was agape the full 8 minutes and my knees were weak. the crowd was stunned. even my girlfriend who’s never heard a boris song was shocked. long live boris and thank you for the upload!!!!
Thank you for recording this! I was right next to you at this show in front on the left holding my phone up 😂 your recording is much better, thank you so much!
Caught them last Saturday with The Melvins. It was a pretty small sold out venue. The Melvins sounded great and played first. Boris came on and half the crowd left for some reason. I watched the set and it was good! Only issue was given a small venue, the sound guy did them no favors keeping them turned down. They ended up sounding like background music unfortunately. I’ll have to catch them again next time around. They did good, but I wish the sound guys wouldn’t make bands turn down so much and depend on mic volume vs amps..I want to feel that in my chest! They deserve a wall of sound for their music or it just doesn’t translate as well. People were just taking over them in the crowd. It’s music to be felt and commanded attention imo.
@@subliminallabs the FOH and the way venues mic you these days. They get these bands to turn down, and want to handle it from there. Use to not be that way, but that’s how it’s been for awhile. I know some bands just keep the settings these days, and use attenuators for smaller venues as well. Then take them off for bigger venues. This was at Tipitinas in New Orleans which is a small venue. I wish they would have some a theater Vs a small club due to the sound. But I also like the small venues as well, as it’s more up close and personal. They sold out the show, so I think they could of handled a bigger venue…plus it was a Saturday night.
Never fancied a twin neck until I saw his. As much as I love Wata, I think that she can’t really play guitar. I may well be quite wrong but I suspect I’m not. Delighted to be proved wrong. I haven’t seen them live alas so I can’t argue from that standpoint.

One of the greatest bands of all time.

How can BORIS sound like background music with those massive amplifier worship service rigs?!?

@@mattg082yo I was at the NOLA show! It was the first time seeing Boris live, after being a fan for over 10 years.
Wow they played farewell for you guys?? Guess the VB crowd wasn't cool enough 😔
melvins couldnt make it so it was a little treat for us haha
This crowd looked so boring compared to the Denver crowd last night.
@@traxcanonch.2421 people in the back were going crazy trust me
@dron3v1l I just thought the front crowd would be moving around a bit but the back in Denver were also going crazy lol
Peggy monster
They covered "Boris" even better than on 2R0I2P0.
