My friend was so fed up woth hunting alone he went out and bought this game for me for my birthday so we could play together. It hooked me on the series and we still hunt together to this day.

It's crazy that in 3U we got Nulberry, I remember making element specific berrys to defend myself in hunts back in Tri, Nulberrys for life! I enjoyed the torch mechanics back in Tri, hunting in the dark was awesome to me especially against Barioth and Gigginox, it hyped me up and never bothered me but... Oh well... Underwater hunting to me is awesome, since I joined the franchise in Tri, It never bothered me to learn how to do It, I always saw it as a challenge to adept myself and honestly, I enjoy it a little more than on land (Especially with Lance, charging that thing made you a human torpedo! lol) 3U is by far my favorite game, not just in MH but in general, and I'm completing 1000 hours in this next week and still fully invested in It, it's such a great game! However, I had no idea that the RNG was THAT bad, yikes... If I knew about that table thing back than I would've been worried XD but I'm quite satisfied with what I got. The only downside to me is that we did not get Amatzu, Tigrex and Brute Tigrex from Portable Third... Everything else we did (Oh, besides Buldrome but no one misses that thing I guess), I LOVE those monsters but I never once got to hunt them. 3U is amazing and all of the changes make it really playable nowadays, the only thing that will be a factor to if you like it or not is the underwater combat and thankfully, there is a hunt in the free demo that is underwater to test it out, even if you don't buy the game, you can still beat up Plesioth XD
Nice videos i'm marathoning this playlist 8:15 the tanzia chips is just a 3 Ultimate version of Portable 3rd's Yukumo Egg, also Nulberry was already present in Portable 3rd.
Just as a small side-note, the Hunters For Hire could be obtained via streetpass on the 3DS as well as by playing with the actual people either locally or online (with the WiiU) - and the 3DS game "could" play online - by linking with the WiiU's "Packet Relay Tool" - although I don't know why anyone would use that rather than simply getting a copy of the WiiU version and the (free) 3DS download for the character transfer tool. (It kind of feels silly why they didn't simply have the character save data transfer in the game natively on the 3DS though)
Love this series and I'm a new subscriber. You're a little awkward, but it's endearing and feels more natural imo. 3U is actually where I began my hunting career and deep love for my Switch Axe. Also, I believe Alatreon was new in 3U, not 100% sure...about 90% sure lol. Good job, keep it up! Can't wait to see what you have to say about my favorite game in the series, 4U.
The WiiU is the best console ever. If you mod it you can play GameBoy, GBA, DS, N64, Gamecube, Wii and WiiU games on it, either on TV or on the gamepad as a handheld (and more retro consoles actually)

We have nulberry in P3rd i still play the game online so it didn’t come from 3U
