This basically if we manipulated Berdly in Snowgrave (or I guess Bridgrave now) instead of Noelle.
This is somehow both horrifying and super cool. Considering that berdly already has an inferiority complex, it wouldn't be hard to see him take control in a weird route style boss battle instead of spamton
i would think there would be a berdly weird route, but with the "frozen chicken" from chapter 2, i doubt it

@@calebbryans5289 it would be actually be very interesting for it to be a weird for Berdly since it would mean that each chapter as it’s different routes instead of being 3 routes for the whole game. That would not only help to set the game apart from undertale but also would make sense in the context of the one ending only since all those small different routes per chapter would have significantly less scenarist importance than let’s say one big genocide route. And finally in the case of a Berdly weird route that would be interesting in the side that let’s say a "complete genocide" route would be impossible which could prove my first point even further

Noelle and Berdly are unlikely to comeback for a major role in the dark world because of the snow grave route. Remember, even though there is a genocide route here on out since chapter 2, the story will still be linear and end up in the same conclusion, with very little changes.

That is surprisingly fitting considering that Berdly ACTUALLY constantly feeds Queen bad ideas. On top of that she didn't even ask him to serve her, he just showed up and she couldn't get rid of him. Plenty of parallels.

I'd love to imagen as this route goes on you see birdly just slowly impact robot parts and just keep saying he's building his grand intellect but he just making more of his brain a mess and just turns the city into a "smart topia" with very poor structure and force the citizens into "smart" people with the plus

the only reason why berdly didnt snap is because susie didnt take the opportunity to beat a dead horse when berdly revealed why he acts the way he does. she kind of sympathized with him? if she were cruel enough to tell him hes still a moron, i can gurantee you he wouldve lost it
At the end they fell into the Dark(er) world in Queen's closet
This would be fitting actually, Berdly gets these powers and doesn’t want to leave

When Berdly takes the weird route instead of Kris.
Holy moly, the twisted smile on Berdly's face on alot of these frames are terrifying. Amazing work!
For a Berdly betrayal in Chapter 2, I think it would be cool if Berdly sent them to the acid river and say: "It seems that certain people will take a swim in the acid lake", just like when Queen threatened berdly to make noelle join her side.

Kris/ act/ reason:
* You try to make Berdly realize what he's doing.
* Queen interrupts (the scene where she tells Berdly he was desinged to be a moron).
And so a cutsene plays (where he breaks the floor with the wires)
I love this, I feel like in a route where you bully berdly and even after he tells his story no one even try’s to be sympathetic, he’s pushed down more than ever and the player takes them for granted, using berdly and hardly putting in any effort, all while the characters tease him and Noelle just stays quiet about it, maybe Noelle doesn’t even forgive berdly when he apologises despite still caring for him, all this would cause berdly to just snap and rule over the cyber world
Berdly is probably powerful enough to overthrow Queen. He's shown in all three of his fights + the Queen & Berdly fight that he's pretty fuckin strong, and in the snowgrave route he proves his power when he becomes more serious
After the Betrayal as they are falling back into the trash pit.

Duuude imagine a route where Susie never helps Berdly get over his insecurities, and so when he can finally create a new darkworld, share more time with his friends, not lose Noelle, Ralsei's interception pushes him over the edge.
He creates a new darkworld, bound to his will, and subjects his former friends to a nightmare...

00:40 The "I've done nothing but sacrifice to get us here" line makes me feel like this would be Berdly at the end of a Neutral run, where he ends up frying his arm off trying to tear the plug off of his face
Toby should actually add another route on Chapter 2 where it is based on this. Berdly has had enough when Queen is about to imprison him and the Fun Gang, and that she is just using him and Noelle to dominate the Light World by expanding the Library Dark World and not really for creating a world only for him and Noelle. It's as dark as the Pipis Route, so Berdly went insane, killed Queen, and imprisoned Kris, Susie, Ralsei, and including his own friend Noelle. No Darkners encountered inside Pandora Palace since half of them are slain and the rest ran away from the insane Berdly. He has 2 boss battles at the end. The first one taking place where you should battle Queen, which is basically just him going too easy on you, and the second one is at the Fountain, where you battle Pipis Route Spamton NEO. In the 2nd battle, he's a bit stronger than Spamton NEO and has Noelle being mind controlled by that thing Queen put on Berdly at the Main Route.

Edit: I'd generically call this Chapter 2.5, since it'd happen all the way until the end of Chapter 2, and proceed until they leave.
For a creative name, I'd call this the Corrupted Route, since his twisted mind would be corrupted with pride and essentially, Spamton COULD corrupt him.

I don't know why, but i cried everytime I watched this animatic...
I like how over 10 years later, people still love Portal 2. I haven't played it in a long time, but it still floats among my favorite games.

My favorite part was probably how you translated the intelligence dampening sphere plot point as Berdly just doing stupid stuff on the computer

What follows is a strange alternate variation, where Spamton Neo appears, knocks away Berdly, and starts ranting, though this would only happen if you do what he say in the game. Remember, the disk?

And from there a secret battle would start, like a mashup of both pacifist and snow-grave routes. You can come up with the ending if you want!
