Just proves to show you some animal mothers are better than humans sometimes as they are protective over kids that don't belong to her! Wow!
To here there her babies, She did the hard work of hatching them, In he mind she is mom and nothing gets between mom and her babies. I know a few people that could actually learn from this...lol
That was very cool. A chicken adopting baby ducks and taking care of them. Thanks.
Jon
She stole the eggs from the duck so these are her babies, She is doing a very good gob so far.
Your joy about mama & her baby ducks is just lovely
Thanks for taking the time to watch.
Omg so cute when the baby ducks were trying to imitate the chicken. 😭❤️
These ducks are getting big now, they grow really fast.
lifeinthailand you should do a update video, I would love to see that.
what a great mama and beautiful babies! I hope all are healthy and doing well!
She did an awesome job.
Unfortunately the babies will grow up very unhealthy and die because a chicken can't teach a duckling how to be a duck
I love the way the hens that hatch the duck eggs and raise the babies and they don't care if it's ducks or chick's that's so cool I just love chickens turkeys and ducks you have a great farm . My nieces just love to watch the babies
Mom is just happy to have babies, glad she is enjoying the videos.
Wow this was wonderful to see! I've never lived on a farm so I've never seen little birds getting their start in life~ how special! Thanks so much for making these videos!

That's one calm mother bird. I'm done hatching chickens this year. Can't wait until next year.
Oh yes, Seasons...lol Not a problem here, Don't like to hatch when it is very hot, Lost a lot of eggs this year trying to prove it can be done, Next year I well take the hot season off.
I agree, it never gets old. Love the birds. Great videos.
It sure is fun to watch.
OMG soooo flipping cuteness LOL where did Mama duck go? smart girl chicken
The duck decided she did not want to be a mom so the chicken took over.
cute
I agree.
Lol animals too like to play different roles , very cool ducklings , too cute .Like the movie "babe" where the pig thought he is a sheep dog haha!! I have a cat that thinks he is a dog !!
You do have nice looking cats. She is mom ans moms don't care what there babies look like.
Never get tired of that yup thats right. Very cool mate.
Have a chicken with 6 baby chicken this time, She took them for there first walk today, They were already outside in the bushes so mom decided when they were ready.

I love the fact that you just appreciate the beauty (as well as the utility) of the flock. Birds are fascinating, eh?

Ha ! Only thing better than a bucket of frogs is a basket of baby ducks !
Pretty cool! See ya !
Baby ducks are so cool to watch.
that is so cool,a chicken with baby ducks.
She has spent most of her life living with ducks, Maybe she thinks she is a duck...lol
So you have a Turkey that thinks it a quail, and Chicken that thinks its a duck, you place has to be a barrel of laughs. 👍👍
Yell they fit right in here...lol
awesome video!
Thank you.
i love it so much..very cool
She has been a very good mam.
the poor momy chicken don't know what to do
Now that words became a title of popular song from blackpink
She is beautiful!
She sure is.
Muscovy hen is smart, she let the chicken incubate the eggs (those are Muscovy ducklings). I agree I also raise feather babies it never gets old
I like how slim this breed of chicken looks.
There is very little meat on a Thai chicken but there a very hearty chicken and make very good mothers.
The males are bred to fight
Cute. I have a hen with 11 Guinea fowls chicks.
I had guineas a few years ago, they make way to much noise to keep next to the house. Beautiful birds though.
The ducks need a little pond, it's how they feed and feel secure.
Thanks for the info, I will let them know.
Love it!
Thanks.
Love your videos mate 👍🏻
Thank you.
Your welcome
They are so cute😍❤️
They sure are.
Wow amazing nature instinct.
Sure is.
When the chicken pooped I lost it 2:27
lol
I remember before this chicken your video im not mistaken his small now his a mother hen.cool
Yes I have shown here before because of her cool colors, Different anyway.
Your goat sir how now?
Still have 4 goats, Not sure what I am going to do with the goats, There a lot of work for what I actually get out of it, But there fun at time too.
Dude I love ur vids keep up the good work
Thank you.
😁😁😋😋😋a lil bit hard in comunicating her duckling da babies do not respond while mama calling for food lmao 😂😂😂 just ignoring mama 😂 so funny ridiculous 😂
It sounds like most teenagers today.
shes gonna be surprised when they swim!
She is going to be a very proud mom, her babies can do something she can't.
So how did it go? Did the ducklings turn into duck hens??
Yes, the baby ducks turned into chickens.....
LoL.. Awesome 👍🏾
How COOL is that?!! Momma Hen with her ch....i mean ducklings! Everything's o.k., I hope only , you don't have a pond nearby, because my grandma back in Bay City, Tx. vicinity told us that the ducklings go straight for the water and Momma Hen's is left on the bank, squawking and fretting over her babies in the water, possibly drowning, NOT! But aquatic turtles do LOVE baby ducks and before the day was through, My Nana no longer had newly hatched duckling to watch and care for. Uprated.
I had a chicken hatch ducks before and she was none to please what they decided to get in the water bowl, Luckily there were no turtles in there. lol
2:30 pbbbbbbbbhhh what?
?
think he's referring to when it pooped and your reaction lol
Probably.
XD I laughed when that happened
pacmanfrog 101 d
I hope she knows how to teach them to swim!
It was fun the last time we had a chicken hatch ducks, All was good tell they decided to go for a swim in the drinking bowl, Mom was pissed...lol
our hen hatched 2 duck eggs for us. We are having to teach ducklings to swim.
so cute!!!!!
Sure is.
Do chickens usually raise your ducklings? Also, what do you feed them?
No, Normally I use turkeys to hatch out the ducks, This chicken thought it as a good idea and did a very good job.
In thailand i feed my chickens some hay or grass? I don't remembered but i feed them seeds sometimes
Can you feed them like this all free range successfully?
How much do you have to supplement?
Very neat experiment.
They still need to be feed if you want them to grow fast as do well.
Thank you
i love it
Thanks.
do you like raising thailand fight as pure breed or if I wanted to gave me an advice about any kind game chickens what is it?
What breed of chicken is that? Awww they are so cute.
She is a Thai chicken.
very cool
Different for sure.
Ducks need a lot more water than chickens. Does she take them to a watering hole enough?
They know what they want and need, I just have to make it available for them.
Now you can make a Turducken with Quail surprise.
Chicken stuffed inside a duck inside a turkey with the original chicken stuffed with a quail.
A Turduckenail.....and if you get really creative put a nice large frog inside the quail. LOL.
lol, Sounds very complicated, But would probably be very good, Not sure about the frog though.
Actually high end restaurants here in the U.S. serve turducken. Popular in the south too. I was not joking. They take the boneless breasts of each bird and wrap them together with herbs and spices and bake it. The duck is fatty and keeps everything nice and moist. Really pretty good.
The thai chicken looks cool alright. Do any of your neighbours "help themselves" to any of your animals or eggs?
I have lost birds before but can't say for sure what happened....
what breed is the momma hen?
She is a Thai chicken, they come in many different colors.
duck is trying ot hijack the babies XD
It might be the original mother coming back to take over, I don't think it was though.
*****
well when there are that many maybe they get confused?
hey can you do a vid of a duck raising chickens please chickens would swim if the mother duck teaches it how to right???!
Chickens can not and well never swim, they well sink when they get wet and look at here feet, not made for swimming.
they will swim and can
Oh I see.
Will the animals come back to its home or they will just be fully fledged free ranged??
I also subscribed to your channel yesterday
This is in my yard so they cant go away and they know where the food and water is so that keeps them close. The only birds I have lost are quail.
Thanks for subscribing.
superbe poulailler!!!!!!
Thanks.
Nice : )
Have you ever been to Hanoi, Or Vietnam for that matter, Going at the end of October.
No not yet mate, look forward to hearing what you think.
Did you keep it
Yes. But this was a long time ago, all gone now.
we all got that one crazy chicken
lol
It's a Muscovy commune. Scovys are awesome.
Cool owl.
so cute it puturi poor baby's
Please explain!
Adorable. It makes me sad that they'll be sold and eaten...
Eaten but not sold, still have them actually.
OMG! 2:31! Chicken poo with noise! Hilarious
Cool beans. Where do you live 🎈
I live in north east Thailand.
the chiken is a mother of baby duck?
The chicken hatched the ducks, so there her babies, she did not lay the eggs.
How is Tom doing?
Tom is doing good, Almost as big as a female turkey now.
I’m really wandering silkie chickens can hatch Muscovy ducks eggs
Should work, maybe only about 6 eggs as there not very big, it really is up to the chicken, a very broody chicken will sit on nearly any egg she can find.
She is a good mom. Many years ago I had the same thing happen with a Red Sex-link that isn't supposed to get broody. she hadn't read the book and likely didn't get the email either, www.flickr.com/photos/dalecalder2003/3526230015/in/photolist-6nARke her name was 99 because that was the number on her leg band.
You showed me 99 before, This chicken was raised with ducks so when the babies went in the water the first time she just stood back and watched no problem, The last chicken I had hatch ducks was very upset when her 3 baby ducks decided to go for a swim in the water bowl.
She's a pretty chicken what kind is she?
She is a Thai chicken.
lifeinthailand She is adorable! and so are her ducklings!
which one came first duck or the chicken? lol
In this case it was the chicken.....lol
how can the chicken teach the ducks to swim?
Ducks are born knowing how to swim, but I don't have a lake so it is not an issue anyway.
Do you sell your animals?
Sorry no I do not.
If there’s only one thing to show that god can create something that melts the heart of even the most evil people, it’s baby ducks.
We could learn from the animals.
It's like the movie leafie
lol
wooooow
lol
If you have fowl in your yard they will keep it clean of all the bad bugs. They eat just about everything--caterpillars, grasshoppers, fleas and ticks to name some of the worst buggies.
The hard part is keeping the birds in the yard.
Life in Thailand r u Thai real?
I am Canadain, but live in Maha Sarakham.
More Muscovy ducks. Ugly things. To top that they're also invasive species in the wild, where they run off native ducks and attack drakes then force breed with females (usually Mallard wilds). In Florida you can see them out in the wild but also living in urban areas, showing up in yards and other places. People find them and usually throw them in local ponds or lakes, where they make new homes and establish ranges all over again. Florida Conservation Officers want to force breeders to band the ducks because, since they fly, they are spreading everywhere. They've also become a favorite snack for the growing Boa population.
Well I don't see how my muscovy ducks has anything to do with this. I well add that my female ducks can fly short distances but the drakes can not get off the ground, Might be different in the wild.
***** Sorry Sir, I didn't mean to rag down on your Muscovy ducks. I'm not a fan myself, but I guess many are. People say they are good to eat, especially if you can get them to sit still for awhile. In case you haven't seen it, a guy up in Canada has been raising free range ducks, he has Muscovy ducks along with Peking and Mallard domesticated, around 900 of them right now. He's had mixed results with his Muscovy ducks. The females all fly, even a male or two has taken off the ground. He's had around 10-15 or more in his flock. They stay in a group and don't mingle with the other breeds. He had too many drakes awhile back and had to cull3 or 4 of them. The females have been aggressive towards the other breeds as well. His channel is called '50 Ducks In A Hot Tub' or 'Ducks For The Homeless'.
I was talking about Muscovy ducks in places down in the southern US, such as Florida, where they've become known a the duck version of feral hogs and are forcing out the native local ducks wherever they range. It's illegal in the US now to own, sell, trade of even feed them in the wild our even if they roost in your yard. So, I guess the Federal government is serious about getting their population down. Good luck with your ducks and animals, looks like a real fun set up.
cool man
Thanks.
👍👍👍👍👍😊
I dont get it
Why you make the hen take care of the baby ducks? where is their duck mom
The chicken and the duck fought over the eggs and the duck just gave up.
The chicken and the duck agreed that the chicken would sit on the eggs and be the mom to the baby ducks, I had nothing to do with it.
your chicken was hybrid look at short neck and long leg that sure hybrid
This is a Thailand fighting chicken.
Old saying! Same feathers flock together.....
Something like that...lol
Lol the chicken is the mom
And a very good mom.
Why don't you have ducks hatch the ducklings? It seems like you have enough? O.o
I do, and chickens, and turkeys....
the problem begin when the ducks go for swimming, Mom can't protect them.
I don't have a lake so no problem there.
