Fantastico! Imagine how wild the people would be if he sang this tune in Mexico? Doug Sahm is one of the greatest talents of all time! The 'She's About A Mover' sound is as good as it gets.
Sir Doug, I am a big fan of your now that I discovered your music in 2009. Sorry you are no longer with us. I am quite impressed by your musical gifts that you left in the world. Your spirit lives on in your music and wish I could have seen you play before you moved on.... but your music does leave you're legacy behind and what really mattered to you! And it matters to me bro. You were the coolest Space Cowboy that ever lived.
What an underrated musician Doug Sahm was....maybe the one gringo who played the bajo sexto. Country, hippie music, texmex, cojunto ,rock and roll cajun, what type of popular music did he not dabble in. I am looking forward to the documentary on him!
He's is not underrated in San Antonio, that's for sure. I used to watch him when he was fresh out of high school and was great even then! My first musical hero after hank williams and fats domino.
What a fantastic version is this!!! WOW! Gives me goose bumps. Great job guys. Un fuerte abrazo por este musicos. Doug, I am sure the great Lord gives you permission to do this one in Heaven....
the best of san antone, flaco and doug sahm, the best of south texas with freddy, flaco and augie love it would of been bad ass if they could have gotten together with johnny rodriguez ,,,,,would have been a knock out
Ahhh! Doug's groove! His energy was phenomenal! ❤💋
