The Korean supermarket I go to in London would fit in one small corner of that one! The one thing I can’t find is dried anchovies - everything else can be bought but there’s much less choice.
For some unknown reason, I love Kkoma Kimbap from Lotte supermarket. Especially the sauce that comes with it :) I know, I can get better at almost any street corner restaurant, but it is still delicious. Thank you for the video.
I'm lucky enough to live 60 miles one way to my nearest Hmart. Really want to know what it's like to be able to shop uninhibited and really get as much as possible... Not just the expected things. Hoping to be there in the next year to two years.
That's awesome! Always good to try new things and just discover what you like. We'll be co-hosting a group tour in Korea in July 2025, if you're interested in finding out more, let me know!
Great vid Paul. That quality of tuna sashimi for 20,000 won = heaven on earth. 5 litres of soju for $17 USD = one night of heaven for you and your friends, and a day after from hell!
@@TastesSEOULGood Oh yeah. By "one night of heaven for you and your friends" I meant a lot of friends. I can only handle a few bottles of that moonshine at once myself.

Thank you for the video! It's an amazing food mart, and you made me hungry!!😂
Glad you enjoy! :)
Hi Paul, great opportunity to try before you buy - such a good idea!
Exactly! :)
Only 2 weeks and 2 days to go. We will be there
Yay! :) It'll go by fast, I'm sure!
Safe travels.
Congrats! Living the dream, man. Hoping to visit in the next couple years.

I wonder if you could even bring them back through Customs?

Thank you for the video.
Perhaps I'll have to give it a try sometime :)

Not the same ordering online

Darn I struggled to find a big supermarket last time.
Will know for next time
Yes! There are plenty. If you're staying in/around Myeongdong, this is probably the closest large supermarket.

Is it hard to find vegetarian ramen at a supermarket like this?
The larger supermarkets like this will certainly have vegetarian (or even vegan) options. The smaller ones probably won't.
That is one big store
It really is - and this is just the food section. There's even more, and another floor, that I didn't even show in this video.
