Awesome challenge. Not sure what the outcome would be if I was in the hot seat. this challenge will be a great activity for my cigar club members. Thanks for the content!!!!
Wow, this is an incredible series and a really fun game! I'm relatively new in the cigar world and I feel like this would be really tough for pros like you guys and impossible for a newbie like me, but I love learning about how the different blends, wrappers, and everything seem to affect taste and perception. Can't wait for the next one!
As Iv said before I’m a Maduro fan and just love the flavor profiles from darker wrappers but the la aroma de Cuba 🇨🇺 nobleese and the mi amor are growing on me Iv always enjoyed the la aroma de Cuba with the Connecticut broad leaf wrap on the original.. its just a cigar that has been a go to in any variation they make
Hey Fauch, The only thing that matters the most in life is that you get your Mother's gravy on spaghetti day correct, with the neighbors from down the street. Nothing else matters. Great video and a great ideal for the show.
Thank you this video. I went and bought both them the other day because if this video. The LADC was extraordinary. I will let you know this evening how much I enjoy the San Cristobal Elegancia. Thanks for two excellent suggestions.
I don't know Mazz, something seems irregular here. Starting to become team Micali here. Next round, Make Mazz sweat. It's definitely game on 😂 Another great video.
Just smoked the La Aroma de Cuba Connecticut for the first time two days ago and was surprised by the spicy note to it, albeit not in any way shape or form a strong spicy note. Great cigar and very smooth tasting. Next on the list will the San Cristobal Elegancia which I also happen to have in my humidor and have never smoked.
Love the ladc Connecticut..haven’t tried the other one yet. The perdoma lot 23 Connecticut is absolutely amazing..as is the new world darado from AJ Fernandez..too many too choose from
Enjoyed the vid as always! Would love to know your opinion on the Henry Clay Warhawk 650. It’s one of my favorite Conn shade cigars because it has a Conn broadleaf binder
The LADC Connecticut is the most peppery and spicy mild cigar I have ever had. Any idea on why that particular Connecticut has that strong tasting note?
If you haven’t already, can you do a video on the different wrapper leafs and their impact on strength, flavour etc. I hear of Habano, Broadleaf etc and I have no idea 🤷♂️
Hi Anthony! Could you please explain to me, is La Aroma De Cuba Connecticut El Jefe just a Connecticut cigar in El Jefe size, or are these two different cigars? I smoked LADC El Jefe Connecticut recently, and it was so damn good that I went and got a whole box immediately.
There’s a shade wrapper variety which is used here & there is a Maduro variation which uses a Connecticut Broad Leaf wrapper. Same size but 2 different blends. Hope this helps
@anthonymazzola4470 Thank you for your answer. If I understand correctly El Hefe Connecticut is not just a different size, it's also a different blend than regular Connecticut.
@@dybcar all the Ecuadorian shade variety of LADC uses Connecticut seed. Regardless of size. All the Maduro sizes of LADC uses Connecticut Broadleaf actually grown in Connecticut. El Jefe is just a size in both blends
Great video. I love watching you guys. I am one who loves the elegance that you bring to cigar smoking. I am all about being a gentleman. Had a question? How many go to cigars do you have? I am trying to get at least 7 and settle down from buying so many of the cigars I see on reviews. What are your thoughts?
My “go to cigars” change at times as I enjoy variety & go on kicks of certain blends. Always smoke a go to for a special occasion. No sense in rolling the dice in that scenario. Other than that just enjoy! Variety makes it fun!
@@anthonymazzola4470 Thank you for replying. I agree. I'm just trying to do my due diligence. T. U. says there are the educational provider for the PCA. Can you confirm that? Best Regards.
I had a pretty good feeling that the first cigar Faccia smoked was the LADC Connecticut. When he mentioned getting a lot of spice right away (and also basically implying that the second cigar was not as spicy), I thought that was a huge clue. That's the thing with Pepin; I feel like even his lighter sticks will pack a punch.
Lol well I feel a little silly because I forgot Pepin is also associated with San Cristobal. Still though, having smoked both sticks, the LADC Connecticut has definitely jumped out more to me than the SC Elegancia and with the way Faccia described both, I was confident in what cigars he was smoking.
They both great but the LADC is just special! I think the LADC is definitely spicier and has more body. Me and Bobby Hersh are planning on coming down to walnut to see you one Monday Mazz!
So I just got into smoking cigars. I bought the regular Ashton cigar, went home, cut it and lit it up. It burned evenly and everything, but I felt I wasn’t getting enough puff from dragging if that makes sense. I also had to cut it farther down than just the cap, because it was harder to get lit. Does this have anything to do with smoking it right after I bought it? Or something else?

Thank you for this comparison, very informative, I have both of these and can’t wait to try them, new smoker here and appreciate you both!
Thank you Scott!
Great channel, awesome for cigar beginners like myself

The Elegancia can develop a sourness sometimes that I don’t get from the La Aroma. However, I rarely do blind tastings or side by side comparisons.
love it

Apart from Arturo Fuente, San Cristobal cigars really hit my wheel-well.
You're smoking a San Cristobal Elegancia...sounds like a win to me. Now I'll have to find a LADC Connecticut.
Love it!!

You guys should do This or That : Puro edition. Smoke 2 different puros and try to guess the country.
Damn now I want some conneticut shade lol
Hey Anth curious why do you call Anthony Faccch ?
It's short for Faccia which means "face" in Italian
I think you f$#& with him by choosing connecticut shade grown cigars knowing he doesn't smoke them 😂
😂
I think it’s a disservice to limit these cigars to morning coffee. You will sell more if you can find a good alcoholic pairing to go with them IMO.
We’ve done spirits pairings with them as well. We are saying the blends are versatile.
Ladc is a great Connecticut but my favorite is the montecristo white series preferably the Churchill absolutely great cigar especially in the morning
Definitely 🔥
I think the best way to win is to buy a box of each.
😂 fool proof strategy

After smoking a cigar does the back your throat start to burn or is that the spice from the cigar? I’m new to cigars so I’m curious
