As an Israeli, I can say that I agree with almost everything you said and I really liked your video ❤
Usually it’s not allowed here to smoke in a closed public places like the lobby of a hotel, and we do give a tip only to a waitress.. bus driver not included 🫣
But I do agree with the rest of what you said. Thank you 🙏🏼

Very good, practical and informational video about visiting Israel. Specifically on a guided tour which will help manage many of the complicated details of traveling to a small country that has always had conflict going on. My best friends 34 year old daughter, who was being raised by a father who practices Judaism, and my friend who converted after they got married. And their daughter is a teacher, and has been traveling to Israel from the US, to teach English to students who want to learn it for several years now during their summer break. And to also connect to her Jewish roots, and learn more about the culture, and so she has created a community of friends, and their families. And also religious teachers/leaders who guide her, and watch over her while she's staying there. But fast forward to the recent brutal attacks by Hamas on Israel, where the impact to the country, her connections there, and her concern for the people she has come to know there is obviously extreme. She has 3 acquaintances that she knows that have been killed during an attack. And she just informed her mother (my friend since we met in the college dorms at 18 years old and we're both currently 66 years old) that she has an opportunity to travel to Israel in December accompanied by Rabbi she knows in the United States. And although she hasn't booked or made that actual decision yet, she is very serious about going. And her mother is freaking out. For obviously good reasons. Her mom raised her to be strong, independent, forward thinking and to give back to others because she is so blessed to live in a stable country, and have so many rights and privileges that so many countries don't have My friend hasn't been to Israel yet, because she was thinking about going to visit there herself. But then Covid19 happened, and that future plan was off the table. And now there is full scale war brewing there, and it's extremely dangerous. I also know her daughter very well because I've known her mom for 48 years. And I saw her daughter when she was 6 months old. I have spent time with her when I went cross country from west to east to visit her mom. And they both traveled together to where I live in August, for a college gathering weekend at a lake cabin where another one of our college dorm roommates lives. And I had a really good opportunity to get to know her better as a full grown adult. And she's smart, very passionate about horses, teaching a special needs students, involved in many causes she supports, is involved with the Jewish community where she lives, is kind, compassionate and adventurous. And she makes friends easily because she has an amazing bubbly personality to match it. And she's very beautiful inside out out, just like her mother is. And we spent a week together this summer and we all had such a blast together.
And she fit right in with us 4 "old fogie dormy friend from 1975 who just retell our crazy, glory college days over and laugh about it all now. And she added so much insight and joy to our gathering. And I ended up respecting and adoring her justvthat much more. 💕 So I came to RUclips to learn more about traveling to Israel and this one from 6 months ago popped up. So I watched the whole thing. And I have used the same tour group company that I found here in the US for 3 different trips I took when I was younger. England/Scotland with my mom in 1997. Then Italy as a solo traveler in 1999. And finally to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji solo again in 2003. And they were all once in a lifetime experience which I really enjoyed. But I made a couple of mistakes on the first 2 tours, and so these type of videos are very helpful, and the content from this woman is important and first hand, and she has such a winning personality and is a positive person, and she seems so lovely. So now I am going to look for videos that discuss the "current travel situation" in Israel since the attacks started. So I can give feedback if asked for it by my friend. The situation there is heartbreaking right now. And I admire that she wants to go support her friends and all the people that live there. But her mom is scared silly, and I want to be there as a sounding board for her. And her daughter's father, who I know and care deeply about too. And she just surprised her parents with this news last night, so I'm doing some investigative legwork about it. Because the 2 of them are so emotionally shocked and scared right now. And I also want to learn more about the safety of going during such turmoil, violence and destruction going on. So thank you for this good video for me to watch. I learned so much from it. 🧐

Yes, we did take covid insurance, but no one asked me for it. It is not expensive, so it's better to take it just in case. Happy travels! Thanks for watching!

Alpha Oasis international out of Toronto, Canada. I don't think they are organizing tours at this time due to the current state of affairs over there. Let's keep praying for that part of the world. Thanks for watching!

Going from Tiberiua to Tel Aviv by taxi is something that no Israeli would do. aAso, I think that we use GetTaxi to order rides and not Uber.
Also, I it is very important to remember to drink water avoid spending too much time in the heat.

      Wrong.
There isn't and there wasn't any country named palestine in the past.
Israel is the country name and will continue to be in the future.
