- In this video tutorial, I show you how to easily color grade your GoPro footage in LumaFusion on your iPad or iPhone. Color grading and color correcting can take your GoPro footage to the next level. In this video, I show a sample of footage shot using GoPro color and GoPro flat color profiles when ProTune is enabled. We also go over the basics of importing and using GoPro Luts in LumaFusion. Mobile video editing is becoming more popular as the software and tools needed have become more powerful. LumaFusion paired with an iPad pro makes for the ultimate mobile editing solution.

Is there a vid like this for the Insta 360 One R? Couldn't find one. Seems to have a different color profile than the GoPro.
thanks for the video. I went to the website for the LUTS. It doesn't show they work with LumaFusion.

Yes that is actually a good idea, maybe you could submit that to Luma fusion As a suggestion
The polar pro luts are not available anymore. Can you recommend any other luts package with similar quality?

@@freshlyspicedice9288 Alot of them are hit and miss...
get go pro app. sync with the Ipad - turn on wifi in settings on ipad go to go pro and into the menu, connect new camera.. pretty easy... or get a micro sd card reader cord - plug card into that and then plug cord into ipad. should come up in your photos on ipad/iphone
1. Plug GoPro directly into iPad via USB-C cable. 2. Use a USB-C drive (or SD card) with the files you want to upload into a directory named “DCIM” and an 8 character sub directory “i.e. “100MEDIA”. The GOPRO files must have 8 characters in the name for it to work.

Do you film in 4K or 1080? Filming in 4K allows you to Downsample it to 1080 and it tends to provide a sharper image. RUclips highly compresses videos. I’m not certain but I have read that Vimeo is better for compression if you want to upload nice videos to share
Thanks for the quick reply. I mostly film in 1080 with 120fps. Not sure what is happening but I can not seem to get any gopro video to look sharp on youtube. Every one of yours is sharp.

Air Photography I have a cuestion
David Heaton I have the same issue. I’ve always assumed that because I’m the “little guy”, youtube compresses the heck out of my video to save space and that’s what causes all the artifacts.
Thank you for the video. Is "Luts" a fancy word for presets? And if so, can "Luts" be used with other platforms like Filmora, GoPro Studio, etc?
In a similar yes luts can go way deeper however. Most of the big photo and video editors support luts I’m not sure about Fillmora but go pro studio does not

Yes Luma fusion is perfect for editing drone footage I use it all the time for that and my RUclips videos. I personally love editing on the go and not being constrained to my desktop computer. I very rarely edit on a desktop these days anymore
