Great question. The goal of this tape is to support the tendon in order to offload it. If we can position the wrist into flexion, it will shorten the common extensor origin. This way, the tape is able to give the most support in the position in which the tendon is used the most. Hope that helps!
Would you recommend wearing a tennis elbow brace over KT tape or is that basically what the orange strip of tape is for?
