HOW TO INSTALL A TOILET BIDET STEP BY STEP DIY - Vitra Aquacare

- Today I show you how to install the Vitra Aquacare toilet bidet with an exposed valve and integrated frame.
I'll show you how to fit the bidet toilet frame to the wall. How to pipe up the hot and cold water supply to the exposed wall mounted bidet valve and how to hang the bidet toilet on tha wall before commissioning.
The Aquacare shower toilet range by VitrA offers a bidet and a toilet in one. The bidet is hidden within the pan so it looks like a regular toilet to integrate with any bathroom design. No electrical connection is required as the water is controlled via standard plumbing methods, and the toilets are fully compatible with the EN1717 regulation which protects against the pollution of drinking water.

yeah but can you also try installation like this in a concrete walls?
James had these in Turkey for years! Definitely the way forward you won’t look back
And Vitra are turkish!
Hi Jimmy , great topical video these are becoming more and more popular. Many are not approved. To comply fully with the "Water Supply (water fittings) Regulations 1999 the installer needs submit an application to install one of these to the local water company. This is known a Reg 5 application. The water company will want to know the about the product and how the water supply is to be protected against backflow. The backflow arrangements on this loo are known as Type AD (also known as a jump jet) rated for a fluid category 5 application. 👍
Cheers mate, you're THE go to knowledge man on this subject too! Hope you're all good.
I have had a bidet since 2000 they are great.
Can't wait to have mine in the bathroom and downstairs loo!
It has been 3 years since my thirties started, but I think it's finally kicking in now.
Nice early vid mate, top work once again. Loved the sneak peaks on the , every Thursday night at half 6, come and join
Cheers man! Btw I got the compression fitting tee yesterday...it's so nice I'm actually going to wear it out and about!
@@plumberparts mate I wear my hoodie everywhere
1st part was published 5 months ago! Had to really look for it. Thought I was going mad thinking I'm sure I saw the 1st part published a few weeks ago. Just catching up on my plumberparts video!
Hey Jimmy. Cracking (😂) bit of kit. I tried to talk one of my customers into one of these but she's gone down the traditional bidet route instead 😡. Anyways, love the song. 👏🏻. #holdtight! 😂
No worries Bry, hope you're well.
I'm good mate. Never been so busy tbh. Hopefully we'll get to meet up face to face at a plumbing shower soon. @@plumberparts
Good Saturday morning to you all from wellington Somerset
Cheers Dave, have a great weekend mate!
Hi there
I’ve got a vitra toilet but missing the bidet. Would you know of any good plumbers in the Brighton area that can fit me a bidet ?
Jimmy, have you done a freestanding bath and filler. If not, hows about it. Cheers.
@plumberparts can you make a video for installation of bidet seat to a wall hung toilet. If you could it would be really helpful?
Still can't believe when I started watching your channel you only had like 200 followers!
Many moons ago!!! 😂😂
I have recently installed an electronic toile that works beautifully, however the washer nozzle does not produce enough water, despite having a water pump in the house to increase the water pressure, what can be the problem please?
Like the look of this. Think I’ll go for it in my en suite when we get round to it. Do they do a back to wall version rather than wall hung? I fitted a Vitra back to wall of this shape with concealed cistern in my downstairs loo. Feel a but more confident on that than if I’d fitted a floater!
@@loafersheffield my 3 year old daughter does this quite a lot. She would often say she’d done a poo but then I couldn’t see anything in the loo. Thought she was confusing poo and wee. Then one day I heard this almighty plop. When I looked in the bowl, nothing there. It amazes me every time.
@@mickyork41 It's magic mate...
We're working on a back to wall version! Should be ready later this year :)
@@VitrABathrooms1 excellent! That will suit me. Thanks for the reply.
@@VitrABathrooms1 Did you ever release a back to the wall version?
Bidet’s are great!! Save a fortune on toilet paper!!
YEP!
I use a good old traditional lota. Bidet is way more modern tho
we used to have an ascending spray bidet, absolute heaven but didn,t comply with regs. new one nowhere near as nice to use.
Wouldn,t be without one though. brilliant videos though.
Cheers!
Arrrrr James beat me to to the early bird. The Vitra Bday looks a nice bit of kit, wonder why Bday’s are not as widely used in the uk surely it’s cleaner and more hygienic. Great vid PlumberParts just think of them homeless Orangutans
Haha! Still chuckle at that. See you on Thursday!
Thanks! :D
just amazing and little different .
Thanks man!
in the UK 🇬🇧 plumbing system is advanced like Luxembourg and Sweden 🇸🇪 .
In Italy there is no home without a bidet and they are separate and can be both wall hung
Dunno how I feel about bidets?! I still laugh at inbetweeners when jay says they’re for checking your kids 💩😆😆
Haha! Love the IB's too. When Jay punches that fish!
What about those bidet add ons that you can connect to an existing toilet?
First time I saw a bidet was in Turkey in 2016 had no idea what the tap on the wall was for. Mary berry would not be pleased I got a soggy bottom
Haha!
I like you. You are real man’s body
Thanks?
I can’t find the link to a thermostatic value you used, Where can I buy this valve ?
Did you find it?
that outro LOL
What is the frame called that you've used?
The frame here is the one that come's with the Vitra loo. Although the Geberit ones fit too (I think!) *LIVE STREAM TONIGHT at 6:30pm* - Open to all! Bang the🔔too! ruclips.net/video/TRJJjTkdENw/видео.html
@@plumberparts cheers. Thanks for the reply mate. Re-doing our downstairs toilet soon and I like the look of these, just need to get the frame measurements to make sure it would fit, give that is under the stairs part.
Hi Jack, this is one of our regular floor and wall fixation frames, you can find some info on page 76 here www.vitra.co.uk/UPLOAD/Kataloglar/Bathroom_Collection_Technical_AW_SR-compressed.pdf :) we do also have slim and reduced height frame options!
@@VitrABathrooms1 thanks I found them. 👍 Looks like decent kit. Standard one should fit where I was thinking too.
Once you've had a bidet bum wash, you realise how unhygenic using paper alone really is.
You know mate!
こんにちは😃
Bidets are the way forward, once you get one you’ll never look back..... who actually wants to rub $hit around their ring anyway ! 🍩vs💍
@@jbellfield The history of why we don’t use Bidets on the scale that Europe does stems back hundreds of years and is actually quite an interesting read, it all stemmed from an association with prostitution and birth control in France and neighbouring countries on the European mainland, the English were disgusted with the thought so shunned the bidet in favour of good old toilet roll, that decision was definitely made to our detriment in my opinion.
@@HALLAGE10 Haha! Interesting stuff!
dude its a bidet, not a beeday
This bidet doesn't look that powerful
Don’t get it,, squirting water at your clay pit doesn’t seem right. I guess after you’ve used it an stand up you get water running down ya legs an flooding ya undies ... Don’t think I’d ever use one
Use a bit of TR to dry off...boom!
@@plumberparts I've been using this technique since I was able to, since a child.
Even without TP, I'd rather have a clean wet bum than a dry cacky cracky🤮
Why bother - just use the basin...............
And then you wash your face in it...
Ha ha ha
