So I've been using this deck for about a week now and I've made a few tweaks that I think greatly help out the deck. First is adding a few Fire Formation - Tenki to help get to your Assault Sentinel (and Assault Beast). Second is to switch out the Barrier Resonator for a Chain Resonator because it's the same level and attribute, but it has a better in-hand effect.
chain is definitely better yes. i kinda forgot it existed for some reason. Tenki could be an option. i just feel its not really necessary since you already have 8 effective copies of psi reflector in the deck. even more feels a bit excessive. one for one could be good too.
yea it was great, too bad the tri brigade player completely misplayed after linking into bearbrum while having no cards in his hand. He woulda won if he just brought out accesscode by banishing 3 and linking into it.
True actually The only time i faced it i lost because my opponent didn't banish everything before i summon plasma and yoink his nova I would have lost for sure if he played it right
Disagree, played this deck a fair bit and Nova has 0 negates, he's a glass cannon, yeah you can OTK easily with him but can easily be destroyed I've found
I’ve been running various decks with this archetype since Duel Links. This engine seems very interesting and I’ve been testing it against friends and it seems to be extremely consistent compared to the other ones I’ve been playing. Having the Assault/Psy engine makes plays easy, and the deck less bricky. I have also been running the Zoo engine as well, kinda broken too. Now I will say I am usually opposed to Maxx C as of recently, running other HT seems like more fun but I might throw it back in. My question: why Barrier Res over just another Synkron
You can put cryston halqi and stardust riser dragon on the extra deck to allow yourself to summon Calamity on your opponent's turn and unables them to play the game.
@@radityabudimansyah1240 Burning Soul is better than synchro call. But they brick a lot and you don't always draw on them when you need it. with halqi, you can do it every match..
Invoked Shadoll Eldlitch sounds like the most cancerous deck in the world. I want to get to plat 1 but running into cores like that make me want to put the game down. Awesome victory and Awesome vid btw!
@@remu2340 it's a good light target to go from shaddol fusion into construct its graveyard effect is good to always have as well as having access to the non destruction removal
The synchron deck is actually better than this one overall (the one linked in the endscreen and info card here). i just dont use quasar in that deck because its generally not worth making. but you can use that deck with quasar or blazar if you want.
Ricardo, both are bad. Sadly. Cause no place for negates or Hand traps in this meta. I would say red dragon archfiend is a lot stronger and more consistent
1 level 12? Synchron ends on like 3 of those, wich are negates. Also can supernova extra easy as well with junk speeder if needed. No way resonator is currently better than synchron.
Wow nice job reaching plat 1 with resonators. I too did so but with the more standard cards and the dawn/duskwalker engines, would you mind explaining the choice of the assault mode engine as I am quite interested in the reasoning for it. Also may I roughly sample your decklist for a guide to the resonator deck I am writing?
assault mode was just the best one card synchro engine i could fit in the deck. also as long as assault mode activate remains in your hand all the other reflectors / sentinels / teleports are 1 card synchros for the remainder of the game. some of the other engines tend to just be one hit wonders. and this deck doesn't quite have the power ceiling to ensure the game is over once your play goes through (supernova + abyss is strong but not quite an autowin) , so its important to have some sort of followup in the deck. and sure feel free to use the decklist.

I made it to Plat 5 with my own Red Dragon Archfiend deck, but I'm going to try yours out as it seems like you can get through a bit more. If there are any cards you think could be changed what would they be? I've never liked using Maxx "C" or Pot of P. So if I could sub those out for Ghost Orge or Ghost Belle I'd like that. Thoughts?
Since this deck's main lines of play will lock you into dark dragons, theres a large part of your extra that tends to be left unused in duels, so prosperity is a really great consistency booster for this deck. especially when going second and trying to dig for cards like droplets, feather duster, lightning storm, etc. from my personal experience in platinum, Maxx C is very good against everything that I run into besides Eldlich. but you can take it out for something else like Belle if you're running into a lot of slower decks.

Very nice build. It's similar to mine. The Satellite play was interesting. Might have to find room for it in my extra as well as it wasn't on my radar. Could probably drop Tyrant from my build but the few times when I needed him he was clutch. Personally, I'd find room for at least one copy of Red Reign. Even drawing it isn't so bad as its free discard fodder for Ascator if need be. I also run two copies of Chaos Ruler so I'm more likely to mill it I suppose.

Honestly the only URs you really "need" are chaos ruler, supernova and 1 abyss. the standard plays of the deck restrict you to just dark dragons. and red nova and calamity are almost never used. but as you can see in that second game sometimes having different lines of play can be very helpful.
Why lightning vortex? I highly recommend throwing in two of the trap instead, it also has chaos ruler synergy Edit: Oh, it’s lightning storm. No wandering king wildwind does strike me as an odd choice though
you kinda need lightning storm to counter all the floodgate decks being played right now. wandering king was initially in the build. it was mostly being useless though. i'd rather maximize consistent access to having the psi-reflector play on turn 1. its ability to search a resonator in the following turn was also kind of useless to me since i run very few resonators. i even considered removing red resonator entirely...just left the one copy there just in case because sometimes, rarely, you might want it. the trap card is another uneccesary brick. its nifty if you mill it off ruler but that's about it.
@@ItachiYGO I can’t say I agree with wildwind being useless, any hand with wildwild plays through interruptions much better than normal summoning psi reflector more often. I do run witch of the black forest and creation resonator for a high roll combo bc her + crimson is an easy supernova + abyss, and you can just search a handtrap ( maxx c lol) if red rising fizzles. And yeah, red resonator isn’t great. I think I run him for the life point gain mission more than anything else. I understand if you don’t wanna run that package, but on another note I think gamma is absolutely worth it in this deck. You have like 15 cards than can bait out an ash or maxx c on your turn while he’s live, its absolutely worth the driver brick. Also more chaos ruler fodder

Interested in using this but I'm missing some cards, namely Dawn Dragster Psy-Framelord Omega Draco Berserker of the Tenyi Chaos Ruler Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss Satellite Warrior also planning to adjust Call by the Grave and Forbidden Droplet because I'm missing those cards. What good cards can I use as alternatives?
there's no real alternative for chaos ruler and abyss (you only really need one abyss tho). the rest of the synchros you can do without. just put whatever good generic synchros you have in there. level 8s being the most useful generally. call is there mostly to counter handtraps. its not needed either. droplet is to have something to counter super powerful boards when you go second.good option to have to draw into for when they don't stop when you Maxx C too. but again, its not really part of the deck's strategy.
it can't really be the deck's main focus as crimson resonator and ascator both lock you to only synchros. but i guess you could add a halq play as backup plan.
You should try adding the witch of the black forest, skull meister, red reign, stardust shimmer, return of the dragon lords and waking the dragon to have a free extra deck summon when it gets destroyed (very good bait)
witch is good in a build with wandering king wildwind. i've considered it. for skull meister there's just better hand traps to use. the rest are turn 1 bricks. i generally try to put as little turn 1 bricks as possible in my decks to be consistent.
@@ItachiYGO Yes, I also use wandering king and 1 red sprinter. I keep meister just because he's a 4* and can't find another 4* monster that fits in with the rest. Yeah, drawing them turn 1 isn't good but they also saved me from sticky situations and provide some protection when I can't get supernova or the opponent can get past him. I feel like the synchro monster of this deck archetype need some support because they can be pretty helpless.

@@Manudyne well in my experience having played Resonators for a while including duel links, the weaknesses lie in the fact that with Witch and Wildwind, you need two cards in hand to combo. With this variation, a board can be set up with just one card which is clutch. Hand traps add value so I can agree with Skull Meister being in there, but I’ve had great success without it. Being able to get your 8s is where the strength is. Plat is cancer but this engine is a lot more consistent
Currently stuck on Gold V with my deck, using Red Dragon Archfiend of course. I just win and then lose and then win and then lose so like I can’t progress. And it’s always due to being started off with a bad hand or the opponent running Exodia or any other OP RUclips decks like why can’t anyway just play the game for fun LMAO Any tips?

Synchron is the one i like the most but if we were to speak objectively...as soon as the cards release on master duel, the strongest synchro decks (and also pretty likely the overall strongest decks in the game) will be swordsoul variants.
3 to 1 is the best ratio to use for these cards that require adding a brick to the deck. (the psyframe Gamma handtrap being another popular example) gives you the best chance of opening the card you want while not drawing the brick. adding 2 bricks to put 3 cards you want in the deck wouldn't make much sense, statistically.
Okay that makes sense, i have tried the gamma too and it bricked most of the time due to this deck is very monster effect reliant and i drew the normal monster lol. Thx
@@Tk_xRem depends on your hand really. also on wehther you're going first or second. But i'd say these are some of the least used synchros in general: Red Nova Dragon Archfiend king calamity Level 8 Tenyi guy 1 copy of Abyss 1 copy of scarlight Dawn Dragster
Recently I use this deck to reach plat 5 . But alway get demoted back …. My opp deck are always shadoll and triblad beast . Would you mind giving some opinion pls ?
hm..well, getting through platinum can be quite a grind. shaddoll in particular, sometimes you just can't do anything. if you lose the coin toss they'll almost always have Winda up, and if you didn't draw any out to her the game is just over. anything that can negate winda is very strong against shaddoll..you see in the vid i used pot to dig for droplets to out her. you could add more cards like droplets if you're having issues with shaddol. for tri brigade. you'll know when they have revolt set..and you know theyre gonna go for Omen to banish something. so try to bait it out before you commit to your more important play if you can. if youre facing a ton of tri brigade you could add ghost belle to your deck. its much better than ash against them.
its because theyre mostly from just one pack. that makes it much easier. and you dont need multiple copies of the UR cards. i'm not counting stuff like maxx c, ash, lightning storm, called by the grave etc into the mix when i say its easy tho. those are universally useful cards, not just part of this particular deck.

@@pikadab6666 sadly synchron deck dies to bricking hand and hand traps. Can't do anything if they Ash junk speeder or if they go first and summon negates.
nothing really, they'd just be a level 5 special summon after the first one. but you need 3 to justify adding the brick statistically. adding 1 brick to put just 2 cards you want to draw wouldn't be worthwhile. same reason everyone who uses the gamma handtrap runs 3 of him and 1 of the normal monster.
It maybe strong in power and effects but its still cant be that strong It cannot be destroyed in effect and has high attack but it is easily tributed take control with spells and monsters and nibiru or ash blossom itself
crimson resonator plus any level 4 monster(preferably wildwind so it doesn’t use up your 1 normal summon)Special summon crimson resonator,summon level 4,tune for red rising,red rising bring back crimson,crimson effect summon either 2 red resonators from deck(and gain lp off one of them) or synchron resonator and creation resonator,tune red rising to all 3 resonators for Supernova
it is capable of getting to plat 1. but there are certainly better decks if your only objective is climbing. the synchron deck i posted in other videos is better for example. thats the one i used to get to plat 1 very fast on both months. you could also simply make eldlich..its very cheap, very strong and extremely easy to use. a lot of new players are flocking to it for those reasons. i personaly would rather watch paint dry than use that deck though.

Great video, ill be checking out this and your synchron stuff. I am a huge fan of synchro decks, possibly besides fusions my favorite type of monsters :] gonna be building morphtronics soon [an all time favorite]
@@kaibaman9651 both should be about the same really. just unlock the appropriate secret pack, spend like 3k gems on it and with the material from dismantling leftover/uneeded cards you get it should be about enough to make either deck's core. note i'm not counting stuff like maxx c, ash blossom, lightning storm, duster, etc in the cost of the decks, as those are universal card choices that can carry over across all your decks...
@@parialife4636 Anything is "playable" pending on what level you're playing at. Could you make an assault mode deck using psi and the rest? Sure. You might even win some games here or there. But ultimately it's not the strongest strategy and can be beaten really easily. You'd have slightly better luck using Stardust Assault if you really want to focus on an Assault Mode monster as that's at least a negate so it has built in protection.
I used the synchron deck in my other videos to get to plat 1 on both seasons. but the overall win rate i have with this on plat 1 means it could have been done with this deck too.

I've always been a sucker for assault mode! But it never occurred to me to play it with Supernova. That's really interesting!
Supernova is EXTREMELY underrated. A lot of the time if you pull him out you just win.

The red dragon are better the stardust/quaser/cosmic deck because he could summon a 12 level monster in 1 turn

@@ItachiYGO I can’t say I agree with wildwind being useless, any hand with wildwild plays through interruptions much better than normal summoning psi reflector more often. I do run witch of the black forest and creation resonator for a high roll combo bc her + crimson is an easy supernova + abyss, and you can just search a handtrap ( maxx c lol) if red rising fizzles. And yeah, red resonator isn’t great. I think I run him for the life point gain mission more than anything else.
I understand if you don’t wanna run that package, but on another note I think gamma is absolutely worth it in this deck. You have like 15 cards than can bait out an ash or maxx c on your turn while he’s live, its absolutely worth the driver brick. Also more chaos ruler fodder

there's no real alternative for chaos ruler and abyss (you only really need one abyss tho). the rest of the synchros you can do without. just put whatever good generic synchros you have in there. level 8s being the most useful generally.
call is there mostly to counter handtraps. its not needed either. droplet is to have something to counter super powerful boards when you go second.good option to have to draw into for when they don't stop when you Maxx C too. but again, its not really part of the deck's strategy.
thoughts on adding halquifibrax/shooting riser?
it can't really be the deck's main focus as crimson resonator and ascator both lock you to only synchros. but i guess you could add a halq play as backup plan.

You should try adding the witch of the black forest, skull meister, red reign, stardust shimmer, return of the dragon lords and waking the dragon to have a free extra deck summon when it gets destroyed (very good bait)
witch is good in a build with wandering king wildwind. i've considered it. for skull meister there's just better hand traps to use.
the rest are turn 1 bricks. i generally try to put as little turn 1 bricks as possible in my decks to be consistent.
@@ItachiYGO Yes, I also use wandering king and 1 red sprinter. I keep meister just because he's a 4* and can't find another 4* monster that fits in with the rest.
Yeah, drawing them turn 1 isn't good but they also saved me from sticky situations and provide some protection when I can't get supernova or the opponent can get past him. I feel like the synchro monster of this deck archetype need some support because they can be pretty helpless.

@@Manudyne well in my experience having played Resonators for a while including duel links, the weaknesses lie in the fact that with Witch and Wildwind, you need two cards in hand to combo. With this variation, a board can be set up with just one card which is clutch. Hand traps add value so I can agree with Skull Meister being in there, but I’ve had great success without it. Being able to get your 8s is where the strength is. Plat is cancer but this engine is a lot more consistent

Currently stuck on Gold V with my deck, using Red Dragon Archfiend of course. I just win and then lose and then win and then lose so like I can’t progress. And it’s always due to being started off with a bad hand or the opponent running Exodia or any other OP RUclips decks like why can’t anyway just play the game for fun LMAO

Savage Crimson Dragon has most of the deck's core. dismantle whatever's left over from your pulls to craft the rest.

but if we were to speak objectively...as soon as the cards release on master duel, the strongest synchro decks (and also pretty likely the overall strongest decks in the game) will be swordsoul variants.

Why only use one fire ant ascator?
3 to 1 is the best ratio to use for these cards that require adding a brick to the deck. (the psyframe Gamma handtrap being another popular example)
gives you the best chance of opening the card you want while not drawing the brick.
adding 2 bricks to put 3 cards you want in the deck wouldn't make much sense, statistically.

thats very rare. you have 8 one card synchros with the assault mode engine, along with 3 more with the ascators. and pots to dig for them.

Recently I use this deck to reach plat 5 . But alway get demoted back …. My opp deck are always shadoll and triblad beast . Would you mind giving some opinion pls ?
hm..well, getting through platinum can be quite a grind. shaddoll in particular, sometimes you just can't do anything. if you lose the coin toss they'll almost always have Winda up, and if you didn't draw any out to her the game is just over. anything that can negate winda is very strong against shaddoll..you see in the vid i used pot to dig for droplets to out her. you could add more cards like droplets if you're having issues with shaddol.
for tri brigade. you'll know when they have revolt set..and you know theyre gonna go for Omen to banish something. so try to bait it out before you commit to your more important play if you can. if youre facing a ton of tri brigade you could add ghost belle to your deck. its much better than ash against them.

How are the card easy to acquire if kept of them are URs
its because theyre mostly from just one pack. that makes it much easier. and you dont need multiple copies of the UR cards.
i'm not counting stuff like maxx c, ash, lightning storm, called by the grave etc into the mix when i say its easy tho. those are universally useful cards, not just part of this particular deck.

nothing really, they'd just be a level 5 special summon after the first one. but you need 3 to justify adding the brick statistically.
adding 1 brick to put just 2 cards you want to draw wouldn't be worthwhile. same reason everyone who uses the gamma handtrap runs 3 of him and 1 of the normal monster.

it is capable of getting to plat 1. but there are certainly better decks if your only objective is climbing.
the synchron deck i posted in other videos is better for example. thats the one i used to get to plat 1 very fast on both months.
you could also simply make eldlich..its very cheap, very strong and extremely easy to use. a lot of new players are flocking to it for those reasons. i personaly would rather watch paint dry than use that deck though.

@@kaibaman9651 both should be about the same really. just unlock the appropriate secret pack, spend like 3k gems on it and with the material from dismantling leftover/uneeded cards you get it should be about enough to make either deck's core.
note i'm not counting stuff like maxx c, ash blossom, lightning storm, duster, etc in the cost of the decks, as those are universal card choices that can carry over across all your decks...

Why you don't have assaut mode monster in your deck ?
The assault cards aren't used to make an Assault Mode monster. They're used as an engine for easy access to a level eight synchro.

@@parialife4636 Anything is "playable" pending on what level you're playing at. Could you make an assault mode deck using psi and the rest? Sure. You might even win some games here or there. But ultimately it's not the strongest strategy and can be beaten really easily.
You'd have slightly better luck using Stardust Assault if you really want to focus on an Assault Mode monster as that's at least a negate so it has built in protection.
