Omg thank you so much for this video! All the videos I’ve watched are using all these fancy tools I don’t have. As a beginner, I have what was included in the box! Also... I loved seeing you do this with your little boy. He reminded me SO much of my son!
I’m fairly new to the cameo I started using adhesive vinyls and wanted to explore heat transfer vinyl on a cameo 4. I haven’t acquired a heat press yet so this video helped me a lot thanks!
A tutorial is ALWAYS more informative when accidents occur live AND are explained AND rectified live because That is "Real Life." It shows what could possibly happen or go wrong even with the most experienced Silhouette Cameo user. So no one gets discouraged when (not "IF," because eventually, things mess up). This couldn't have been a more informative tutorial if that had been planned!!!! Awesome video!! However, Blake is like both the whipped cream AND the cherry on top!!! You should ALWAYS have him; your views would probably triple just to hear his banter, realistically BLUNT thoughts and opinions, but especially his "side jokes" and little comments!!! Kill multiple birds with one stone!!! You'll be spending quality time with him. He'll be learning a computer program, graphic designing. A profitable artistic trade. As well as a profitable way to utilize the internet and social media (which is the "wave of the future"). Not to mention the art of public speaking. It can never be seen as " using or "exploiting" your son for ANYTHING when he benefits way more from the act!!! Think about it🤔💪🏼💪🏼🤩🤩

@@SilhouetteSchool sorry, I didn’t understand. what is the difference? I currently have a printer for sublimation which I use sublimation paper … if I want to do DTF prints I need a different machine right? sorry, I meant to say DTF prints.
hope you can help me. I downloaded the silhouette business edition and it will not let me select my printer. I have downloaded drivers, turned everything off and back on, still nothing. Would you have any idea
I'm new to the cameo 4 and it's something I'm doing wrong, with my cut settings cause it cuts straight through to the mat. I'm using glitter HTC and it says my settings are 3,4,18. Is it the font I'm using or do I need to take the clear part off first? I know it's a simple mistake but it's been a month and a half and I havent created a shirt yet.......plz point me in the right direction so I can start making money lol
Make sure your blade is in the carriage correctly with no gap. If it's sitting too high the blade depth isn't being adjusted while it's tapping so it's actually probably cutting on a blade depth of 10.
When I load my vinyl into my cameo4 when I send the job to the cutter the vinyl backs out and comes out from under the cutter and then I have to stop can you tell me what I can do to fix this?
I have had my Cameo for 2 years brand new and still don't know how to work it I have to pay people to do my vinyl and then I heat press it someone said big hard prayer that I get this I have this machine and can't even work it this is so hard

Please provide as much info (including cut settings / exact material / screen grabs) as possible when emailing. Thanks for the feedback...every working parent's "struggle' during the pandemic is having the kids home and trying to work at the same time. I think he's rather helpful and knowledgeable most of the time.
I have a difficult time because it keeps making me register the cut and it fails because there are no marks? Like it’s just htv not printed so what do I do?
Hey there! I think we'd need a little more information to help troubleshoot. For HTV you only want it to cut the vinyl side, and leave the shiny transfer sheet in tact. You can also check out this step by step on the blog: www.silhouetteschoolblog.com/2018/12/best-first-silhouette-cameo-project-and.html
@@SilhouetteSchool thanks I figured it out .it wasn't clipped in🤦♀️. So much to learn on this thing lol. It would be nice if they had built in step by step instructions in the program. I've ordered vinyl twice and both times didn't get the right kind .I wanted heat transfer vinyl and each time I ordered regular adhesive vinyl 🙃

This is so cool thank you for your help.😁
Happy to help!
I might have missed it, but could you please tell me the blade settings you used?
Depth, speed, thickness? Does it need to be double cut?
I use the default cut settings for HTV, Smooth but increase the force to 14
@@SilhouetteSchool thank you!
For me this didn't cut through the vinyl at all. Hmm
What setting do you have on the iron?
Question cutting mylar on your machine for stain glass patterns
You should do a close up on your computer to show step by step on how you have your settings set up & what made ur vinyl cut n send

I want to kiss you tell what's the best settings to put it on that is my problem if I had a certain setting to leave it on maybe it'll start cutting
Hello! I was wondering... do you suggest getting a second printer for HTV projects? I currently only have one, but I use it for sublimation...
Hey there, if you want to print on paper, then yes, I'd recommend a inkjet printer.
@@SilhouetteSchool sorry, I didn’t understand. what is the difference? I currently have a printer for sublimation which I use sublimation paper … if I want to do DTF prints I need a different machine right? sorry, I meant to say DTF prints.
You need to use weed Lines!! That way you don't have to use the scissors.
hello love ur toterial am from algeria i want to ask how many heat u did on the iron
Hi there! You'll want to refer to the heat settings from your packaging and the specific type of material you're using.
what kind of vinyl did you use ?
so sweet your son ,, can i do that with my cameo 3
Where did you get the cloth bag?
yall are great husband must be an Avenger or something..peace!!
Wat if I don’t have the paper you put over the top can I use something else?
You can use a thin piece of fabric like a pillow case
hope you can help me. I downloaded the silhouette business edition and it will not let me select my printer. I have downloaded drivers, turned everything off and back on, still nothing. Would you have any idea

In the Preferences ( gear) at the bottom of the Send panel you need to change the option so it returns to origin rather than feeds.
