Oh dude. Get some spacers between that windsheild and the fairing. I used 1/2 inch thick plastic washers on the bottom bolts to lift the bottom of the windshield off the fairing. Wind buffeting is GONE and it cuts through the wind like butter at high speeds. It's night and day difference and it's a $2 fix.
I guess its all subjective, I'm 5'11" and I love my Bob suspension, the rear is set up soft over bumps but handles the bends just fine. i have a small nose fairing that puts the wind and bugs right into my face so am going the taller fairing similar to yours but will fit spacers to the screen to allow some airflow. My mirrors are already mounted below the bars which doesn't take long to get used to.
Sweet vid! I'm looking at building this exact type of bike. I'm 6'2" as well so all of your vids are applicable. The more vids I watch about softails, the more torn I am between a softail and a bagger. Problem is, I don't have THAT deep of pockets LOL
Baggers are expensive! The standard models for street glide and road glide are a little less expensive, but for the best deals check out Facebook marketplace and Craigslist for used baggers. You’ll find some owned by older people with low miles for around the price of a new softail. Either way brotha life is short buy the motorcycle!
If I could change something about Harley Davidson it would likely be that suspension. I got the Low Rider S with inverted forks and they help but yeah that wonky ass, bipolar, suspension setup from Harley is just stupid. Soft in the front and stiff in the rear. I mean, make up your mind Harley. Not some huge problem for me since I’m no street Rossi or stunt rider, but good suspension should just be standard on bikes this expensive. Of course, I’d make Harley use the best products they can find from, suspension to tires to the internals of the engine to the damn oil filter if it was up to me. They charge a freaking mint for these bikes and cut too many corners imo. Still love them though. What are you gonna do right?
That’s kind of the point of the bike. It’s “bobbed” so it’s really your canvas to make you’re own. And if you’re buying a Harley, hopefully you know that you’re going to be spending a few thousand on aftermarket parts to get it to your specs.
Shit ain't cheap. Looks wise I would been better off running a newer FXLRS. Because mine is blacked out. I've spent probably 7k on the basics, wheels, rear fender, bars, trim, exhaust. I agree not buying a built one already haha we ride the shit out of them. I bought my dyna used. And it was bone stock low mileage. Not even a set of bars added to it.

That's what I keep telling myself. Money comes and goes. You're only young once so might as well get out and ride
🤟🤟
Wow…well said and very honest. Love the review and agree 100%!
Ya having a Harley is a “RICH” man’s game. A 22 RGS with 12k in parts and a list that never ends. My fiancé hates it but it’s better then drugs!
True that!
Cool Vid Man. I did Seat, Backrest Bag Supports.😎
Exhaust and fairing to go then that's me. 👍🏾

Damn! gonna be a sweet bike though!
I’ll probably make a video in the future when it’s done 😎
Do you think this is mostly a cruiser or is it a good bike to do hooligan shit on like wheelie too?
