Our Garage Door Broke! Let's See What Happened!

- This is the second video I've done on this garage door. But is it REALLY broken this time? Let's find out!
I didn't mention this in the video, but vibrations from the door caused the sensors to get misaligned for some time, causing the door not to close.
We are eventually going to have someone come out and either adjust the springs, or get completely new springs.
Here's the entire story of what happened:
While I was at school, my mom texted me saying that the garage door is broken, so I replied back asking which one. She said "the big one", which is the one that this video is obviously about. She told me that she was leaving and it wouldn't close, but It opened just fine. She tried to close it using the remote in her car multiple times, and she said it would only close a little bit then re-open. She then got out of her car and tried closing it using the button on the wall, but still no luck, so she then decided to disconnect it from the trolley and close it manually. She wasn't tall enough to reach the door to close it manually, so she got a step-stool. As she was closing the door manually, it was too heavy for her, so she just let it go and it came crashing down and actually crushed her step-stool. (RIP) She then tried using the button on the wall to reconnect the door to the trolley, but she said it wouldn't connect. (I explain why it wouldn't connect in the video, so I'm not going to explain why here.) She then opened the other garage door so she could get out of the garage and leave.

Up at my work we had the bearings fail in one of our cart bay doors and it ripped probably two or three of the rollers out of their sockets and left the door hanging diagonally. Had to have maintenance come out for that one.

Not to long ago our spring fell off the garage door. The came to see what specific spring to buy and it with by Wednesday it broke Saturday night he on Sunday. The spring was found on Wednesday a installed it and it was oiled to.
did it reverse? if it did, it might be an issue with the sensors
