Then comes Vegito who punches the life out of the boss and finally shines the first thing reminiscent of sunlight into the world. He was the light of hope in this moment and I wished the background stayed bright during Vegito's KO screen.

Guys I just realized Vegito's original 18 ki is actually making a homage to the Dragon Ball Super Universe Survival Saga Opening, if you rewatch that opening when you see the part where goku pulls the ki from hi fists and trains with it. It's extremely similar to what Vegito does and I think it's a neat attention detail. Sick animation by the way through and through!
