One time me and my friend were taking turns to fight Sephiroth and it was his turn. My dad, who had beat FFVII 10 years previously, happened to come into the room when it was my friend's turn and asked him "do you know who that is (friend's name)? I think you're in trouble" made me proud of my old pop.
He's actually quite easy once you work out how to deal with all of his attacks, only took me two ass kickings to learn the fight so to speak. Although being level 80-something and having the Ultima Weapon probably helped too.

The fight in KH1 against him is one of the most memorable moments in video games for me. The first time I fought him was when I was around 6 years old. ICE - BREAKER - 9000 I’ve got his attack patterns down packed but I would get him down to his last health bar and then I get thrown off guard and lose the fight.
Kittycorn 115 Okay well there's this cheap method (well kinda of an exploit) where you use the Fenrir keyblade (you get after winning the fight against Sephiroth) and equip the negative combo ability (*make sure you don't have ANY combo pluses*) Then make sure you *DON'T* equip these abilities: Aerial Sweep, Aerial Dive, Aerial Spiral, Aerial Finish, Magnet Burst, Combo Plus, Air Combo Plus, Finishing Plus, and Berserk Charge. Oh and one more thing go to Donald's abilities and equip his Fantasia ability then also have auto limit. So when the fight starts have Donald do his Fantasia ability so he is stunned in the air for a hit, so the abilitys I told you to equip and the Fenrir keyblade comes into play since the Fenrir's ability is a negative combo you can do a finisher everytime you mash X so when you stunned him in the air just hit him back to the ground and before he can react jump and hit him again. Somehow his revenge attack doesn't happen sooooo boom just keep doing that until you beat him only two things to note tho: don't make him touch the rocks on the map or the edge, (because he's revenge attack will kick in) if you mess up wait for him to come close the activate Donald's ability again to stun him then do the whole process again anyways hoped this helped Also inb4 KH fanboys/girls get all mad and really say they no-life this game to the MAX

Just beat him today in my first ever playthrough of Kingdom Hearts 2. When I got to his last health bar I felt so many emotions I couldn't describe. And when that final hit landed, all of my adrenaline turned to pure joy. Easily my favorite Kingdom Hearts boss so far. I plan on playing through the rest of the series, but I absolutely hope that no one dethrones Sephiroth of that title

HauntedRaincoat That's debatable. I am aware of who kefka is, and what he's done. Kefka is a basic psychotic with ambitions of Godhood. Sure, he's done things horrific, just for laughs, but that only makes him scary, not necessarily a good character. Sephiroth is a tragic character, if you really look at his history, and is also a far more able fighter than Kefka. As far as I am aware, a lot of Kefka's acts of murder were done with trickery and subterfuge, not hand to hand combat. So in the context of a video game, Sephiroth makes more sense as an active boss. Not to mention that when it really comes down to it, I'd rather fight the sympathetic and deep character with amazing powers and backstory than the raving lunatic.

@@JurjevichDragonBoy As someone who grew up with the KH2 version of OWA (been playing the game since at least 2011, long before the HD remixes), I honestly disagree. The 2.5 version has the benefit of NOT reusing the FF7 choir sample, which (as much as the FF7 version is my numero uno OWA) feels outdated considering that the original track was meant for the PlayStation soundfont, as well as a real orchestra strengthening its power. OWA, in my opinion, has always been at its best when it's played by an actual orchestra, and Takeharu Ishimoto's synthesizers for the PlayStation 2 version (which has seen quite a bit of criticism, particularly in tracks like He's a Pirate) just couldn't match up with that. But that's only what I think.

ICE - BREAKER - 9000 I’ve got his attack patterns down packed but I would get him down to his last health bar and then I get thrown off guard and lose the fight.
Kittycorn 115 Okay well there's this cheap method (well kinda of an exploit) where you use the Fenrir keyblade (you get after winning the fight against Sephiroth) and equip the negative combo ability (*make sure you don't have ANY combo pluses*) Then make sure you *DON'T* equip these abilities: Aerial Sweep, Aerial Dive, Aerial Spiral, Aerial Finish, Magnet Burst, Combo Plus, Air Combo Plus, Finishing Plus, and Berserk Charge. Oh and one more thing go to Donald's abilities and equip his Fantasia ability then also have auto limit. So when the fight starts have Donald do his Fantasia ability so he is stunned in the air for a hit, so the abilitys I told you to equip and the Fenrir keyblade comes into play since the Fenrir's ability is a negative combo you can do a finisher everytime you mash X so when you stunned him in the air just hit him back to the ground and before he can react jump and hit him again. Somehow his revenge attack doesn't happen sooooo boom just keep doing that until you beat him only two things to note tho: don't make him touch the rocks on the map or the edge, (because he's revenge attack will kick in) if you mess up wait for him to come close the activate Donald's ability again to stun him then do the whole process again anyways hoped this helped

This is an incredibly different version because that one female singer is so much more powerful. You never hear the female singers this intense in the other versions but in this one there is this singer who sounds like she could sing in an opera.

The vocals on this one sound so vaguely uncanny, I can’t put my finger on it. It adds so much to the experience.
Gonna be honest, my personal favorite version is the Advent Children One. It captures Sephiroth’s personality much more, and the guitar solo parts sound sick.
Also, the Rebirth version is also pretty good

Just beat him today in my first ever playthrough of Kingdom Hearts 2.
When I got to his last health bar I felt so many emotions I couldn't describe. And when that final hit landed, all of my adrenaline turned to pure joy.
Easily my favorite Kingdom Hearts boss so far. I plan on playing through the rest of the series, but I absolutely hope that no one dethrones Sephiroth of that title

Between 1.5 and 2.5, this version highlights Sephiroth’s frightening presence alone. Even the vocals have a noticeable, fear-inducing tone if you listen closely. The shaking of the vocal sounds is a noteworthy sign of a fearsome opponent.

HauntedRaincoat That's debatable. I am aware of who kefka is, and what he's done. Kefka is a basic psychotic with ambitions of Godhood. Sure, he's done things horrific, just for laughs, but that only makes him scary, not necessarily a good character. Sephiroth is a tragic character, if you really look at his history, and is also a far more able fighter than Kefka. As far as I am aware, a lot of Kefka's acts of murder were done with trickery and subterfuge, not hand to hand combat. So in the context of a video game, Sephiroth makes more sense as an active boss. Not to mention that when it really comes down to it, I'd rather fight the sympathetic and deep character with amazing powers and backstory than the raving lunatic.
+Russell Danis (Korvas Terindar) kefka will be more pf an strategy combat been a distance enemy and its actually a better villan for the simple reason that his crazy and finds suffering death and destruction funny not like sephiroth that was just been used by his own "mother" that makes him more of a sad story

@@JurjevichDragonBoy As someone who grew up with the KH2 version of OWA (been playing the game since at least 2011, long before the HD remixes), I honestly disagree. The 2.5 version has the benefit of NOT reusing the FF7 choir sample, which (as much as the FF7 version is my numero uno OWA) feels outdated considering that the original track was meant for the PlayStation soundfont, as well as a real orchestra strengthening its power. OWA, in my opinion, has always been at its best when it's played by an actual orchestra, and Takeharu Ishimoto's synthesizers for the PlayStation 2 version (which has seen quite a bit of criticism, particularly in tracks like He's a Pirate) just couldn't match up with that. But that's only what I think.
