Can you make a video of powerfunctions/control plus/mindstorms for dummies? (I have no experience with any of these and I’m trying to get into it but I don’t know what I’m doing.)
Power functions is starting to get irrelevant at this point, I really don’t like the control+ system, BUT ILL DEFINITELY MAKE A VIDEO ON MINDSTORMS WHEN IT COMES OUT
Unbrickme that's a fantastic mod - I don't have the set but I appreciate how hard it must be to fit extra motors into a model that is designed to be manually driven. I don't have any servo motors - where do you get them? Also I have started buying the bricks for the 8043 model you pointed out to me - quite hard to get some of them 😬.
Hey bro, last week i motorised it with buwizz v2.0, i did it with one xl motor for drive, gear ratio is 8 tooth on 20 tooth, also i did same thing with steering, and also i motorised the mixer on the back with M motor driving the small wheel, it is ok and spina perfectly, not to fast
yo, sorry I've not replied to your comment on my channel i think i accidentally deleted it sorry, but thanks for the support and good luck with your channel and also could i get a shout out please.
Get 1 servo, 2xl, 2l, 2m, a battery box, reciever, and remote. You should be able to do everything you need to with just those. However, c+ is getting better, and if you buy them from brick link they are reasonably priced. I think I will stick to power functions to run gearboxes, and powered up for rc vehicles
I prefer gearboxes! Although what I would’ve liked to see are instructions from lego to upgrade this a little with just one motor and a basic no Bluetooth battery box, so that you can motorize the concrete mixer
Unbrickme I like gearboxes too, but this one isn’t particularly interesting. It would have been cool to have a mechanism that made the drum spin the same way no matter which way you push the truck, which I believe has not been used in a LEGO set.
That is AWESOME!!!!!
My favorite mod you have ever done was the "cursed tie pilot"
Thanks! Do you think you’ll get this set and if you do will you motorize it?
@@Unbrickme probably not, I think that technic is super difficult and challenging. I probably couldn't do it
I think lego system is super challenging honestly
@@Unbrickme yea sometimes is its. Especially with big sets. Its super time consuming
This is the first Technic set I've ever bought, its currently on its way to being delivered and I hope that I can someday mod it like this :)
I didn't knew that was possible on this set! nice work
Can I use 1 XL motor instead of 2 L motor? Any problem with the gear?
I suppose you can, but 2 l motors take up much less space
Wow looks nice
Thank you very much!
An easier way to do the steering is by taking away the HOG and the putting a m motor on the yellow axle. (It is much easier.)
But I wanted proper return to center steering and I needed the space for the medium motor to spin the mixer
@@Unbrickme Oh ok just a suggestion. (PS. I'm only 9 years old)
Is there any way to fix the situation at 5 :10 -5:15? the car cannot swear to drive and reverse
I’m not sure what you mean
@@Unbrickme I mean, when you hold the steering button and then move forward, the car is extremely difficult to move. Is the any way to fix ?
It just depends on the surface, it wasn’t a super flat surface it was very uneven
@@Unbrickme thank you
Always thought this set could get an update!
And now it’s amazing!!!!!

Unbrickme there’s new mindstorms coming? Also I want to make an rc car moc simple 2wd what power functions parts do I need?
can u make the Mack Granite Snow Plow in to rc plz

You can buy them straight from LEGO for 25 usd
Thanks, yeah lego or amazon are the best places
Also holy com, two l motors in a tiny model like this is a lot of power.
Yeah but you can’t go fast unless you have buwizz
I guess you can exchange the gears from the motor with slightly larger gears. Switch the middle gear with a smaller gear.
To increase speed slightly
Yes you can definitely do that, however, I prioritized torque
This is great!
Thanks! Do you have this set?
Where is the battery box

Nice work! Do you think I should get a buwizz? I never got it simply because it is not a genuine lego product
@@Unbrickme yes! Way better
ok i want it now
It doesn’t matter how long it took as long as it works
:)
1 will you get a buwizz 2 will you review it if you get one
1 I’ll definitely get a buwizz sometime, 2, I likely will not review it
@@Unbrickme why not?
Where is the battery box?
in the front cabin
bravo !!
Thank you so much! Do you have this set?
That's you'st awsome men
Cool
I wish I was that good at lego
Motorizing technic sets is far easier than building Mocs trust me
@@Unbrickme I agree
Use buzzwiz
I prefer using all genuine lego parts

No problem! Sure I’ll give you a shoutout
@@Unbrickme thanks so much dude in my next video I'll give you a shout out to. it will hopefully be tomorrow
Nah dude please don’t shout me out
@@Unbrickme come on it's the least i can do, i haven't replied in a year
I have 0 LEGO power functions
You should get some before they retire. They retire by the end of 2020.
Which ones should I get
@@stopmotionstuds8531 all of them

Or should I just get the Rc stunt racer
I think I’d prefer this set motorized for maybe 140, this set is cool but not very functional. I’d rather pay more to have it rc
