- There's a big chance that you might've ran across various copies of the Jimmy Neutron pilot, Runaway Rocketboy, but not great copies of the pilot, with all the ones I've found having an annoying watermark on the corner, along with it being in the wrong aspect ratio, and one of them was """upscaled""" while not really being upscaled.
I recently came across a copy of the Jimmy Neutron DVD, Confusion Fusion, and lo-and-behold, it includes a copy of the pilot. So, here's my chance to upload what I'm pretty sure is the first clean and properly processed copy of the pilot on RUclips.
fair use if you take this down i'll make you run away into space and get captured by eggs

I remember getting Jimmy Neutron on DVD on my sixth birthday. I loved the pilot episode, which was included. Ah, memories!
wait they included the pilot.. WHAT DVD IS IT
@@Rusty_The_Diesel_05 it's called Confusion Fusion
@@Rusty_The_Diesel_05Confusion Fusion.
DVD? I'm way oldet because I got it on VHS.
@@franciscojaviermendezrinco1902 yeah it was on DVD
Did you know that for Jimmy Neutron: boy genius:
Hugh neutron never changed after the runaway rocket boy pilot, because he is without flaw and is the image of perfection.
Except physically
The ideal male physique
Yeh but my man Carl. They knew Carl looked off from the pilot. So they made Carl more funnier, and more crazy.
His cheeks are less flabby and he lost the sideburns, but besides that he's basically perfect.
@@jgm9807Carl seemed alot less anxious here.
the nostalgia is crazy I remember watching this show everyday back in the day
Those old animations give me a nice nostalgic feeling.
It’s nostligic to me and I was born in 2009
lol I like that they used the audio from this in the actual film
Maybe few sfx
@@GWKTM who voices jimmy in pilot from 1998
@@shaniamcgowan9268 Same as always. Debi Derryberry. Duh
The very same women who voices Coco Bandicoot in the Crash Bandicoot series.
I love how different Carl looks
23rd Anniversary of Jimmy Neutron: Runaway Rocketboy! (1998-2021)
You mean the 27th anniversary because it was originally named Johnny Quasar created in 1995 even a pilot animation of Johnny Quasar was created the same year so you mean 1995-2022
Now it's 26
The pre-2000s Animation is interesting lol kinda klunky but I’m glad they cleaned it up
Is that Rob Paulsen voicing Carl? That'd be pretty darn cool if it was true
Edit: YES it is
Funny how most of the cast in the pilot ended up in the actual series
Carl and yakko from Animaniacs have the same actor
@@supermarioplushgirl3445 And don't forget 80s Raphael and 2012 Donatello from Ninja Turtles.
And for Goobot it’s a bad thing Sir Patrick is infinite times better than Bullock
This is so interesting. Seeing some of the early concepts from this animation that inspired the movie. It feels like this, as well as the original movie, had a sense of charm that was lost with the series...
The series literally had the same exact feel and “charm” as the movie
@@yeeheestoner223 not really. The series was more bubbly and amplified its characters' personalities more than the movie did. An example of this is the romance going on between Jimmy and Cindy. In the series it's always pushed for audiences' attention. In the movie, it was done much more gently and was more realistic to how actual elementary school children would interact. The movie also seemed to have a more mature theme to itself, about Jimmy learning to decipher his high level if intelligence from his child like nature. Even though he is a boy genius, he is still a boy, and his development through the movie was realizing how he isn't smart enough to handle all his problems by himself. A development of humbling himself. The series seems to nearly forget all the development Jimmy had from the movie, with him actually becoming more complacent in later seasons.
A hard disagree on that whole "sense of charm lost with the series" bit.
@@Takimeko The TV series is definitely less serious in tone than the movie and how it handles it's morals. Perhaps I view that as charm because I can be a solemn guy who appreciates to-the-point morals in media. Even disregarding m personal likes, it's not a stretch to say the seriousness in the series is toned down.
Agree
Most of the scenes from this Pilot were reanimated for the Jimmy neutron: boy genius movie teaser trailer in late 2000.
*late 2001
Noice what a humble beginning to a certified hood classic lol and an amazing one of kind show that uses 3D instead of the traditional 2D that's why I love this show It was soo unique and wayyy ahead of It's time!!! God I miss this classic Gem Of a Show!!!!
One of the best animated shorts of all time! This short was indeed the warm up for the actual movie
I love Jimmy Neutron!
Fun Fact: S. Scott Bullock and Paul Greenberg would eventually reprise their respective roles in the tv show.
Seeing some parts of this that went to the trailer from (2000) on most of Nickelodeon Vhs and later most parts of it went to the movie.
The animation is impressive for the 1900s
The quality is surprisingly good considering that it was VERY difficult to animate CGI humans back in the 90s.
Remember I said to mark my words no grounded things and the punishment words is off limits and try Jimmy neutron busted for launch carl off the roof Jimmy can't say zero now going on and say Jimmy busted.
@@gerawallstar3487Yea. 1890's
Well, you're technically right
Jabroni tf? It was the 90s, of course it was decent to rather good
There is so much to see in the pilot, I think I prefer the pilot from the actual show, this is amazing!
I remember watching Jimmy neutron like 21 years ago as a wee lad, watching it now it seems so much more cursed. Animation was a helluva drug in the late 90s/early 2000s
That be Jimmy's dad original model from a concept picture. His mouth is always open even before he started screaming so his model was probably ripped from that concept picture of Johnny Quasar. 6:45
There could be two boy geniuses Jimmy and johnny
As a kid that watched both the movie n the show when it came out this is fucking with me so hard
It says a lot about the talented staff at DNA Productions, that they were able to compete with Pixar and DreamWorks on the big screen.
Until they flopped Ant bully which I enjoyed as kid but didn’t enjoy in the level of Pixar’s cars or dreamsworks shrek or DNA jimmy neutron movie. Ant bully flopped and the studio collapsed and jimmy neutron season 4 was never created and canceled.
It's supposed to be 3, 2, 1... gotta blast in Jimmy Neutron season one, two and three in 2001-2003 series on Nickelodeon?
this was the real first Jimmy Neutron episode nice!
Unless you include the Johnny Quasar clip from 1995.
@@theminuteman3460 johnny quasar was legit nightmare fuel🤣
dude thank you so much!
Oh You Got To Admit That Is Pretty Neat!
This is the Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius: Pilot (1998)
Imagine a sequel series where we see Jimmy as an adult raising a kid of his own while being a scientist at NASA or something
When Jimmy’s mom was yelling at him at the start, the name on the fridge said “Kwaiser”, a similar name to Jimmy Neutron’s original name, Johnny Qeasar.
Let's hope it won't get taken down! 🤞🤞🤞
I don't see how it would get taken down.

3. Build Goddard a female poodle.
4. Sneak out.
Dude, this feels like it was made around 1994-1995 lol. I also noticed that it has the entire plot from the movie.
well except the yolkians kidnapping the parents and also jimmy going into planet yolkus to just run away from home instead of going to planet yolkus to rescue his parents along with his friends' parents
No, it was 1998s film. But, it still used 1994 logo version with Helix.
@@fatimia1000 I didn’t say it was made in 94, but it feels like it to me.
That scream was the most hilarious thing ever at 6:44.

Bro, I remember when they used clips from this to promote the movie on VHS.
when I first saw this I was confused of why Carl's design looks so different but when I found out this was a pilot it all made sense
The CGI revival of Bunsen is a Beast is looking great!
Cool to see jimmy neutron pre-2000s lol
If Jimmy Neutron had a live-action film adaptation, it would be great if it followed the same concept of the 2001 film Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, but I would like it to have a realistic re-imagining and portraying of the titular character. I also would like to explore a dark side of Jimmy Neutron (something similar to Harry Potter and Frylock).
Dude no live action would ruin this amazing series don’t be stupid
Carl looks 45 years old lol
It’s amazing how they carried over the ENTIRE cast from pilot to series. They knew who they wanted to work with.
I wish they could bring the show back and continue it man nickeloden is going down hill now
Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius
13:10 Impressive, very nice. Now lets see Paul Allen's animation
This is like a mix of both theme songs
This pilot didn't quite live up to the theme song and music score like the movie and the final series did
some people call this version of jimmy the late version of him.
“Oh, the dyslexia. Turn around!”
This was how it all began.
The scream and 9:42 were solid laughs
“Will be our slavessss”😭😭😭got meee
13:21, the best good thing about this pilot, is that, *wait? Where’s Paul?*
Paul's first debut in 2002.
That’s the same VAs of King Goobot & Ooblar as the official series!
The sugar booger line is so funny
Its interesting to see how jagged and weird the 3D animation was but the concept essentially was there.
Did not expect to see Mark Menza of all people involved in this pilot.
He used to do lots of composing for other DNA projects, plus, he was also based out of Dallas like them
Cool!
the title“ runaway rocketboy “ makes me feel melancholy
Johnny Quasar's father makes a cameo appearance driving his car
1998 was the year when CatDog came out!
Jimmy: well Goddard and i are we're running away from Home 🏠 and we're never coming back we'll be gone Forever
1:56 James Isaac Neutron!
King Goobot: You haven’t seen the last of us Jimmy Neutron.
3:33 Mom says you’re grounded. Sorry!
2:08 Probably Nine, Exactly Nine

0:29 and his name is Jimmy neutron!
2:21 Carl: My ears are popping! Ow!
Hugh using Psychology?? Now I know it's the pilot
Lmfaoo
9:43 Wow this actually made it through
1998 is when the fairly odd parents pilot episode came out!
Jimmy’s voice in this animation sounds like Tails from Sonic The Hedgehog to me.
A Jimmy neutron video on a Windows os themed channel?
Jimmy Neutron is captured by King Goobot
Why Didn't Goddard bark in the credits?
What does mean that Jimmy actually started before Timmy
Fairly odd parents had shorts in the 90s too, if that's what you meant.
@@theminuteman3460 Like did jimmy really started before Timmy Turner
I think they were around the same time.
Because I'm thinking it's a pilot the the clearance for the character first appeared or episode 1 or for Jimmy case the movie
3) Sneak out Run Away from Home 🏠 and never see your Parents ever again and teach them a lesson
They should re-create this , so awesome.
Boy do I have a movie for you
1:19 Goddard’s Barking
5:16 Why do I think that Judy is thinking that was hot/cute, like bruh...
