I have a carlinkit android auto 13.0 with a Mercedes glc300 2019. Do you have a remote via Bluetooth etc you recommend? I am unable to get the full functionality using the spin wheel. The glc doesn’t have a touch screen ?? Help 😫
@@igorbenderskiy it doesn’t have a second usb input like the Mmb unfortunately. It’s has a slot for storage , sim & usb port to plug in the vehicle. And RUclips is the only app that doesn’t have its full functionality. I use it in my Toyota and the touch screen works perfectly fine along with all the functionality. It’s just in the glc300. 🤷♂️ I was hoping to find a remote of some kind to possibly help with the control system for the RUclips application

I've received this and have a big problem with WiFi that maybe you can help. It says to set password to 12344578 but with Mercedes Hot spot WiFi you cannot change the password and it's already set. You can generate new passwords but you can't set one of your choice. Is there a way around this
The pass is 12345678, and you need to enter in your cell phone hotspot, not Mercedes. If you use MBUX, then search from the box, touch it and enter the password from Mercedes WiFi
Ive purchased a few different android boxes for my new Lexus es 350 f sport with touch screen but not happy with them since i can only use touch screen to control. My car mouse pad pointer can be seen but it wont select anything... I saw this box you have for sale that does not require touch screen and can be controlled with the car's controls, ie, mouse pad and enter and back buttons. My question is, will this work with my new 2022 lexus and be able to use both the touch screen AND more importantly, my cars mouse pad and controls? My carlink box doesnt support that currently... thank you!
Since it works in Mercedes, I don't see why it wouldn't work in any other car. Also, you can get it with Android Remote Control, if you don't like to touch the screen, as I've shown in my latest video.
I bought the new multi media box (Android 9.0, wireless Car play, etc.) for my 2018 MB E400 , and I can only work the mouse on the big touchpad, not the one on the steering wheel. What can I do? Also tried to buy the Box’s remote controller from their website and I can’t find it. Thanks
Yes, 2018 doesn't have the steering wheel touch button, but you can use the central touchpad, as well as central controller knob (scroll, highlight and enter). Also, voice control for some commands. Also, you can mirror your smartphone, and use your cell phone as a remote control. You can buy any remote control, which is compatible with Android TV, but before you buy it, I recommend using this box for a week or so. Based on my experience, it takes about a week or so to get comfortable with it. I'm going to find out about the remote control and will let you know where you can get it inexpensively.

It will work, if your car is equipped with Smartphone Integration package, which includes Apple Carplay. If you have it, then it will work. My Box is the latest one, running on Android 11 OS. But personally, I like to use Mercedes phone controls, which can be used together with Android Box. You can switch easily between the car controls and Box controls. The latest Mercedes models support multiple phones at the same time, but it's not on 2017 model. You can set a Call Forwarding feature on of the phones, so you get all the calls on one single phone.

I haven't tested carlink. Does it have 2nd USB input? Are you sure it's compatible with the remote control?

Since it works in Mercedes, I don't see why it wouldn't work in any other car. Also, you can get it with Android Remote Control, if you don't like to touch the screen, as I've shown in my latest video.

No, it requires Apple Carplay, which 2008 model didn't have. Unless you replaced the original radio system.

Yes, 2018 doesn't have the steering wheel touch button, but you can use the central touchpad, as well as central controller knob (scroll, highlight and enter). Also, voice control for some commands. Also, you can mirror your smartphone, and use your cell phone as a remote control. You can buy any remote control, which is compatible with Android TV, but before you buy it, I recommend using this box for a week or so. Based on my experience, it takes about a week or so to get comfortable with it. I'm going to find out about the remote control and will let you know where you can get it inexpensively.

No, but mostly I use this Box to play RUclips videos, which is 16:9 resolution regardless if it can go in full screen or not.

The ux has the projection system to choose between apple Carplay and android auto.
I think 2021 UX has both AA and CarPlay standard, but confirm with your dealer. Or simply connect any iPhone via USB and see if it starts CarPlay.
