In this video we discussed circle theorems:
.Equal Arcs or equal chords make equal angle at centre
.Prependicular drawn from centre on a chord divides it in two equal parts.
.Line drawn from mid point of a chord meeting centre of circle is prependicular to chord
.Equal chords are at equal distance from centre.
.The angle subtended by an arc at the centre of a circle is twice the angle subtended by the arcat any point on circumference of circle
.Angle in semicircle is right angle
.Angle is same segment are equal
.Sum of opposite angles of a cyclic quadrilateral is 180 degree
.If one side of a cyclic quadrilateral is extended then the external angle so formed is equal to internal opposite angle.
.If radius of two circles are r1 and r2 and larger circle passes through centre of smaller circle then
.Tangents drawn from same points are equal.
.PQ is a tangent that touches circle at A. AB is a chord angle made by chord in segment i.e. ∠ACB and angle between chord and tangent i.e. ∠BAQ are equal.
.Alternate segment theorem
.Tangents drawn from same points make equal angle at centre.
.If two chords of AB and CD of a circles cuts each other internally or externally at any points E then
.If PB is a secant that cuts circle at point A, B and PT is a tangent that touches the circle at T
