  • In this video I travel to Pigeon Forge, TN to meet up with my buddy Brandon Deitz. He is the proud owner of an immaculate 1978 Jeep CJ7 Golden Eagle. Brandon has customized this jeep to his liking while still keeping it tasteful for the 70s era. It took him over 4 years to complete this build, but as we all know Jeeps builds are never done. If you want to follow along on his build, follow him on instagram at "brandon6942." Please see below for the additional information I outlined in the video. Thanks for watching! When it comes to Jeeps, keep it classic!

solid, nice job. i’m doing my ‘74 now and same as you, Im trying my best to keep as much original as possible.
factory v8 304. Same as ‘72 i had 30 years ago but had to give up because of new babies etc.
nice to be able to get back into it.
    Inspirational.

I had a '72 cj-5 with a 304. Loved it. Painted it black, had header exhaust under the doors like this one. Lots of fun. Sold in back around '91. married with kids. With a long commute.

Nice looking Jeep for sure. I have a '85 Laredo and have owned a CJ of one type or another since I bought a new '76 Levi's CJ5. My '85 had those extended shackles in the front also but I shortened them because they take the Caster out of the front end and they won't track straight, always darting one way or another. Another fix is to use wedges under the spring pads which I also employed. Now you can take your hands off the wheel on the highway and it tracks straight.

Magnificent. Thank you so much for the videos you put out. I love the information and you always find the best jeeps to showcase. Don't stop, keep working!!
I truly love how this guy talks about his jeep and how he says that he drives it all the time. I love when he said, I make my vehicles to be driven (paraphrasing).

That was a great build on the CJ. Could you follow up on those saddle bags that were custom made. Went to Facebook but nothing on saddlebags.

Everything looks great. Awesome Dash. My only critique is the headlights just look to Modern and don't go with the classic retro look. He should have got whitish headlights. A white headlight would have looked more in line with the classic CJ
